"Push!!!" the doctor was saying to me. Did he think I wasn't pushing or something? This hurt already. Maybe they should just put a tube down my throat and blow air and let the baby pop out. Anything but this. Sweat was just pouring down my face, but lucky for me some nurse kept swiping it all away.
"Daniel get the baby out!!!" I screamed. It's probably a good thing all I had was his hand to hold onto, I might've ripped something else off. I gave one last push and the pressure was gone. I could breathe normally again. I took deep breathes and let it out slowly.
"What should we name her?" Daniel asked with the biggest smile I've ever seen from him.
I never actually had thought about the actual name until now. I thought about this for a while.
"Mary-Chayse."
Daniel's smile spread wider.
"That's a beautiful name..."he said.
