  "What happened?" I managed to get out of me as I tried opening my eyes.  I turned over and felt a huge amount of pain.  Someone noticed that I was hurting and rushed over to me and said "Sarah try not to move, the doctors say you'll be alright but that you need some time to recover." It was Daniel.  I couldn't believe that he had stuck with me and fought off John.

  "You're safe now, try not to worry, I tried to hold him down in time for the police to get there but he got away, I'm sorry..." Daniel said.  "It's ok, he's gone but that doesn't mean he won't keep trying to come back." a tear rolled down my cheek.  Daniel must have noticed cause he put his arms around me.  "I'll take care of you." he said.  "Thank you..." I whispered.

  Daniel took me 2 days later after the doctors said I could leave to his house where I was to stay for a while until I graduated and could be out on my own.  I was glad it was almost the end of the year, that way I don't have to worry about school anymore.  Daniels parents were very nice and had a room already made up for me, with all my stuff in it from my house.  "If you need anything let me know." Daniel said.

  "Thanks for everything, I don't know what I'd do without you..." I said so that he could varely hear me.  "I don't know if you know this but I've liked you for a long time now.", my cheeks turned bright red.  I've waited so long for him to say that.  "I just thought you should know that." I just smiled and nodded my head.

  That night I went straight to sleep, not a care in the world...
