  "MOM!!!!!!!!" I said, varely able to get that out of me.  She walked in throught the door her face blank and pale.  "What the hell is going on here?!" she yelled and I could tell this wasn't going to end well.  "Honey, listen, this isn't what it looks like, I swear." John protested.  By the look on my moms face, I could tell she didn't believe him and wasn't going to believe what he said for a split second. 

  "John, get out of my house, and if I ever see you near my girl again, believe me, you won't see the light of day ever again!".  I started crying because of how much I loved my mom for doing that, and because the pain was unbareable.  Johns face went blank.  I could tell he wasn't going to just leave and never come back....he wasn't the type of man to do that.

  John walked out of the house, slamming the door after him.  My mom watched him get in his car and drive away, making sure he didn't turn around and come back. "Sarah I'm so sorry he did this to you, I promise you this will never happen again." my mom said as she carefully picked me up and put me on my bed.  Being seven and all I didn't understand what my step dad was trying to do. I didn't even bother asking my mom since she had just saved me life.

  Later that month my mom decided we should move incase John ever decided to come back and try and fix things.  It meant I had to leave my dance friends and my elementary school, but knowing that John would never do that to me again was worth moving for.  Our new house was smaller but we had more neighbors for me to play with.

  10 years later, I was 16, my life was going perfect, I was crushing on this guy named Daniel, I had amazing friends, straight A's, things couldnt get any better....but that night I came home and everything changed....

Sorry the last one was so short!!!!
