Team 2 was walking through what was left of their school.  “It’s true.  It actually happened like we were warned,” April said quietly.  Jesse put a reassuring hand on her shoulder.  They walked past all the damage.  Lockers were swung open with scratches and dents in them.  Old homework assignments and backpacks scattered on the floor.  Katie walked over to her old locker, “Wow, it still has that sign on it.”  The memorial of Josh was hanging on her locker with one claw mark on it, but it still survived.  “Where do you think the others are?” asked Katie.  “I'm not sure.  But knowing John and the others, since they planned what they would do for something like this, they're probably safe some place away from here,” replied Aaron.  Aaron and Katie broke up for the 4th time.  Although, they were closer than ever, just good friends.  Katie was worried because the damage was great and there was no sign of there friends.  They kept walking, and reached the IT room.  “Hey, look!”  April pointed at the door to the room.
 “They've been here.”
Sean led everyone to the bus again.  They were preparing to head back to the school and look for the others, or any survivors.  Joey and Bree went to the back and John didn't even need to look to know that they were making out.   “What are they doing?  Never mind.  Don't answer that,” Daren made a gagging face, so John made things worse for Daren by grabbing Jessie and kissing her.  She giggled and Daren gagged some more.  The scene was entertaining to Bree and Joey who stopped kissing to watch Daren pull Jessie and John apart, but end up getting in the middle of it.  “EK!  No way!  I don't want to join this!”
“Okay people, we're entering the parking lot now,” Sean yelled.
Jesse entered the room first.  “Wow, they had some little party going on in here.”  April, Katie, Aaron, and Lizz joined him.  “They did, didn't they?  It must have been interesting…”  Lizz laughed.  They searched the room to see if anyone was left.  Only a body.  A decaying, smelly, green body.  It was one of the clones.  But the question was how did it get here?  And where did the others go? Daren ran out of the bus, once it came to a stop.  He couldn't stand all that lovely dovey stuff.  Sean walked out last and counted heads to make sure everyone got out.  Jessie and John were missing.  “Okay, where are they?” he asked.  Jessie gave away their location by giggling.  She and John had snuck into the back of the bus and were hiding for no reason whatsoever accept the fact that it made Sean mad.  Sean wasn't mad though just annoyed with Jessie’s games.  He brought out his sword, which made a metal against metal sound as he withdrew it.  He walked into the bus and knew exactly where they were hiding.  Walking light-footed, he tiptoed into the back and sat down in the seat in front of the couple.  “Think they just left?” asked John.  Sean then turned around and brought his sword down, down, down on to John… Right as Sean thought he had Jessie and John scared, she countered the swing and swung her twin blade around Sean’s arm and brought it to a stop at his neck.  “Don't play those kinds of games with her, Sean.  They're no fun to her,” John warned.  Sean backed up.  She still had the blade lined with his throat.  Sean gave the sword to John and kept backing out of the bus because Jessie’s dagger kept getting dangerously close to his neck.  The sweat was pouring off of his cheek.  He had underestimated her strength and cleverness.  “I'm so sorry, Jess.  I didn't mean harm.  I was just playing around,” Sean pleaded; another bead of sweat fell from his face.  “Just playing, eh?  You know, even if you were ‘just playing’ if I wouldn't have blocked that swing, John would be dead now or at least seriously injured,” Jessie corrected the scared young man.  Sean walked back and back until he reached the exit of the bus.  “You know, I didn't kill you because it was just a game!! Ha ha!  You really believed that I was mad?  Wow… I only wanted to show that I'm not weak,” Jessie lowered her blade.
Sean then relaxed, “Well I never said you were a weakly.  I always thought you were stronger than you seemed.”  John walked out of the bus a grabbed Jessie’s waist, lifting her 6 inches off the ground.  This made Jessie laugh and the others as well because soon, they wouldn't be anymore laughing, in the headquarters of hell.
Daren rewrapped Jessie and Joey’s wounds and gave them the pain medicine hoping that it would last them awhile.  Now the school really did look like hell, or a ghost town.  On assignments rolled in the grass, and the backpacks of people who tried to escape were lying all over the parking lot.  The inside of the school was worse.  It seemed that someone had come back, looking for something, or someone.  The lockers hung open; most of the doors were ready to come off.  Everything was smashed to pieces.  Joey walked past his Jr. High locker; it was wide open with someone’s stuff in it, backpack, pens, pencils, paper, and a book. “Where are they?  This place is wiped out,” John looked around at debris.
“I don’t know but we’ll find them,” Sean led them down the halls in deafening silence.
Aaron and Jesse stood behind the door, making sure anyone, or anything, couldn't enter.  Katie looked around, wondering were they were and how they made it out alive.  Or were they even alive.  No one in the team really knew for sure.
Aaron and Jesse whispered among themselves and then said, “Someone, or something is coming, get ready ladies, and Aaron.”  The group braced themselves against walls and doors hoping that what ever was out there wouldn't come in.
Sean walked up to the door first.  He turned the knob, hoping that no one was on the other side.  The door creaked as he opened it.  The others followed him in.  “Hey… Ummm… Maybe we should turn back now,” Sean turned around.  There, behind his head, was a loaded pistol, ready to blow him away.  “Wait a minute!”  Katie and April ran over and took Jesse’s gun.  “They aren't enemies!  We've been looking for them!  Jess?  John?  You two back there?”  Katie questioned.  Jessie and John stepped into the room cautiously.“No danger?” Sean asked in a stern tone of voice.“Oh, my God!  We found them!  Or the other way around,” Jessie was jumping up in down and they all began talking about how they survived.
The plan was going just as the dark man wanted.  The first two teams were together and that was perfect for what he had planned next.  It would be so quick; the little childish teens wouldn't even know what hit them.  But first he needed an enemy that hated the others. Someone that would work with him, and he knew exactly who to get.  Amber Fording.  She would do the job decently, even though, he had hoped John would work on his side, but he underestimated John’s abilities, and he had escaped.  Now it was up to this girl.  The girl hates Jessie for leaving her in the dust.  Now this little reunion will be quite the sight to see.  The man chuckled to himself quietly.
Now that the teams were together, they had to begin planning.  Daren sat in one of the chairs pondering what would be their next move, because if John was right about this evil, they were going to have some problems.  They already lost one team member, and they can't truly afford to lose another.  This one going to be one tough fight.  Good VS. Evil.  Heaven VS. Hell.  What ever you want to call it.  This was not going to end very well. They talked and talked, argued and argued, just trying to find out what had truly happened.  “Well you know what?  This is stupid.  Why do we waste our breath when the problem is out there?” Joey pointed out the window at the flipped over cars and trucks.  Jessie giggled in John’s arms because he was tickling her and she heard someone say ‘breath’.  “Breath is an amazing Breaking Benjamin song,” laughed John while he continued to tickle Jessie.  She feel off his lap and giggled some more.  When she got up, everyone had stopped talking.  “What the hell?” Jessie turned to the door.  It was opening.  “Oh great…” Joey and Daren walked to the door and opened it all the way.  No one was there.  “Okay then…  Now we really should be leaving this school,” Joey turned to Bree and took her hand again.  They went to the door but stopped dead in their tracks with faces as white as ghosts. There in the doorway was Kaleb.  He held a shot gun in his hand, loaded and ready to fire at the next bit of movement.  “Uh… Kaleb?  Is it the real you?”  Jessie stuttered, shaking like a leaf so John wrapping himself around her protectively.  “You're so pathetic, Jessie.  Stop hanging all over him.  You'd think you would have grown out of that childish nonsense.  Please don't tell me you two got busy while I was gone,” Kaleb scolded.  “No, that was Bree and Joey,” John smiled.  Bree gave him a look that said ‘You wish we did, loser.’  John just laughed some more, but now everyone was wondering the same thing; where did Kaleb go?  He was always with us, right?
Jessie and Daren exchanged glances.  Neither of them believed this was the real Kaleb.  They had their suspensions.
Kaleb sat down in the chair at the front of the table so that his whole audience could see him as he spoke, “Now you are probably wondering were an intelligent, good-looking man like me went for that long amount of time, since graduation that is.  Well it is quite complicated, and I'm guessing by now, that you all know about you-know-who, correct?” They nodded.  “Okay then, it starts out very confusing and I don't want to hurt your dimwitted minds.  Therefore I shall dumb it down for you all.  I met the man, the one that wants to kill us.  He is, what you would call, crazy, but I call him insane, completely.  He is the Devil himself.  It was quite the sight.  He has no face.  This means there is nothingness under the mask.  Quite a scare if you ask me.  I know the one an only way to kill him but it requires a task that will be so challenging, so terrible that you might just die too.  And it requires a sacrifice.  Someone has to die, and he said we will not be freed to live our lives until someone’s lifeless corpse is lying in the center of the gymnasium.” Kaleb looked around at his audience of dumb-stuck fools; looking everyone in the eye.  He stopped at Jessie. “He said, also, that we must pick the right one or else…” He paused dramatically to add an affect, “we all die.”Jessie glared at him, “You’re crazy.”“Yes, maybe.  And I suggest Jessie’s is the one he wants.” Kaleb chuckled to himself, a grin slowly swallowed his face.“No way.  There IS some other way out of this mess and you’re a liar.  If anything YOU should be the sacrifice!” Jessie speed out of the building.“Well so much for that.  She thinks too fast and doesn't listen.  You should something about that, John. Anyway. The man wants us to commit our greatest sins all over again.  That’s what he wants and he'll do anything to get it,” Kaleb sat back down.  This was no good at all for the teams.  They needed more help more security.  Sean walked out to the bus which meant it was time to set off again.  “But we must find Jess-I,” John said.  “Well then, go find her.  She’s no use to me,” Kaleb barked, angrily.   John turned in the direction that Jessie disappeared.  He knew exactly where she'd go; The Band Room. Jessie went to the corner of the room and sat down.  She was beginning to cry again.  She didn't know what to do.  There was no way there would make it out of this alive.  Then she started to sob right as John walked into the room.  “Jess-I…” His voice trailed off while Jessie thought about what she should do.  It wasn't long before John brought her back to Earth.  He kissed her lips and she jumped.  She had forgotten about her visitor and drifted.  “Damn me to hell…  I drifted again…  I'm sorry.” Jessie sighed.  John put his arm around her and held her tight.  “Don't worry.  We'll make it.  But we really need to hurry…”  It was almost as if he had read her mind.  The bus would leave without them?  She doubted it since all of their friends cared about them…  Well, Kaleb didn't seem to…  He’s just not the same anymore.  She wondered about what really happen.  “John?”  “Yes?”  “What do you think happened to Kaleb?”  “I'm not sure but I think something is very wrong about him.”  “Me too.”   They walked out pondering the thought of a fake Kaleb… The team, everyone but John and Jessie, were now at the bus.  Katie looked quite frightened, worrying about her sister.  They had to find the others, but losing John and Jessie was not worth it.  Sean walked on to the bus and sat down, “What the hell is taking those love birds so long?”  “I could think of a few things,” snickered Kaleb.  “Oh, just shut the hell up would you?” hissed John as he entered the bus with Jessie.  “Go screw your girlfriend,” snapped Kaleb.  “I will.  At least I can get some!” John fired back.  Kaleb shot up at that and cocked his shot gun, “Damn it, John!”  Jessie pushed John back into the seat and sat down beside him to keep Kaleb and him from killing each other.  She whispered to John, “Are you insane?  Well, wrong question…  Do you want to die?”  “Sometimes, Jess-I, sometimes I think it would be a hell of a lot better world without me…” John stared down at the floor.  Jessie tilted his head back up and looked deep into his eyes, just like she used to do when she was searching for the real John.
“Don't say that.  I would never be able to live my life without you…”  She kissed him, and he loved every minute of it, even if he didn't act like it.  Jessie laid her head on John’s shoulder, secretly hoping this would never end.  But the master of evil had different plans.
The Devil had his ideas, his beautifully collaborated plan.  He loved it.  He would make them all suffer a slow painful death.  He would mess with their minds and make them kill each other.  It was ingenious!  Beautiful, oh-so beautiful and he made it!  The terrible voice echoed throughout the school, “I know where you're hiding.  I know where you're going.  I know your thoughts.  Everything.  There’s no use in running because I'll catch you.  It’s worthless, you're worthless.  But your minds and hearts are not.  Run, run.  As fast as you can.  You're going to be caught, by the greedy old man!  Muuhahahaha!”  The figure trashed everything in his path.  Fire burned from his finger tips and where ever he stepped, flames rose from the ground.  Fire was beautiful.  So hot, so dangerous.
“If you play with fire, you get burnt.”  The man threw flames at the pictures of the teens that had caused him mush dismay.  The ones that held the secret within their minds.  The secret that would destroy them from the inside out…
April, Katie, Jesse, Aaron, and Lizz were confused out of their minds.  This whole clone thing was too much to take in.  No body believed it would ever happen but it did and now they were knee deep in dangers unlike any they would ever face.  The whole world was at stake, and they were supposed to save it?  Nonsense.  It was too big of a job for teenagers to accomplish.  Way too much.  They needed to find the others, and soon. Sean stopped at the Handy Andy in Summitville because if there were any survivors, they'd be here.  The second safe place.  Daren walked in with his sword out and ready to swing it at anyone.  Everyone else had their weapons out as well.  When they reached the door, they could hear a conversation taking place, “But I just don't think it’s a good idea to head back to the school.  It’s too dangerous.  I think we should try looking for survivors in all the houses.  Or at least search them for supplies.  I have a feeling that it might be awhile before the others find us.”  Many other voices were heard, but no one could make out the words.  Only the voices, then they knew what to do; storm the store and find out.  Joey kicked the door and ran in, pointing his gun at the people that were gathered at the table.  “Oh wow,” commented the young girl.  “Jess?” Jessie questioned.  “Jacob?  Ben?  What the hell?” Joey was confused.  There, at the table, sat all of their other friends and even a few survivors. “This is amazing… Truly…  I never thought this many would survive…” Sean’s jaw dropped.  The others were just as amazed by it too.  There was; Jess, Nacelle, Brittany, Jacob, Ben, Levi, Cody, Corey, and a few others that they didn't know very well.  It was a huge surprise and that was a good thing.  Now they had a better chance at winning this battle.  “Wow.  This is great!” Daren was happy now.  “There are more people, you know.  Out back,” Corey pointed to the back part of the store.  Sure enough, he was telling the truth.  Regan, Lacy, Carmen, Dylan, Christina, David, and Chris. “Holy hell,” said the shocked Joey.  “Hell isn't holy, Joey.  And guess what?  We've figured out what this bullshit is about.  Would you like to know?” Regan corrected.  Everyone nodded.  “Well, this is a game.  The ‘Devil’, supposedly, is trying to mess with our minds.  But this man is only trying to play Devil because one of us, or all of us, is who he considers ‘God’ and can defeat him.  This man is sick.  I saw with my own eyes what he did to a few people.  It wasn't the kind of thing normal human beings do.”  Regan shook from her own words.  Everyone began thinking.  That was a mistake.  The enemy knew their position now.  They were doomed.   Darkness swirled around the teens.  A cold wind blew the glass right out of the window.“Oh hell!  Everyone!  Find some place to hide now!!” John grabbed Jessie’s arm.  “Come now.  We have to hide.  He’s coming or at least his clones are.” He pulled her into the storage closet with Katie, April, Jesse, Aaron, Levi, Cody, and Corey.  This was going to be a living hell, literally, and they could only hope that the others were safe. The clones crashed through the store, ripping everything apart in search for the teens.  The leader was becoming angry, “Damn it, John!  I know you're here!  I know all of your friends are here!  I'll find you, I will!”  Flames shot from his hands.  He was tired of their games.  He torched the place.  Flames rose to the ceiling and Lacey and Carmen were tired of waiting.  They ran out of their hiding place into the mass swarm of clones.  “Noo!” Lacy cried.  They were both swallowed into the flames.  Gone and never to return.  Jacob walked out of the girls’ bathroom.  “Oh, my God…” The whole placed was burned.   Nothing but darkness surrounded them.  Daren took a head count.  Three people were missing.  “How could we be missing three?  Lacy, Carmen, and…?”
Joey thought for a moment, “Kaleb!?  He disappeared again!  This is all starting to add up!”  Kaleb was gone again.  Where?  Why?  How?  When?  The questions were flowing through everyone’s heads.  But not John’s…  He knew…  He knew what was going on…  Who the master of chaos was…  It was so simple.  Kaleb…
Lacy and Carmen were stunned when they woke up in the deepest, darkest pit they'd ever seen, as if they'd even seen a pit before, but still…  It was terrifying.  Cold, dark, and lonesome was this pit.  Little bugs began crawling around Carmen.  It didn't bother her, but Lacy freaked.  She screamed a high pitched cry so deafening, and horrid.  Clones appeared at the top of the pit.  They were amused by Lacy’s fear, but Carmen wasn't afraid so the demons began throwing pebbles down at them.  Each time, Carmen just ignored it until one demon decided to be smart, “Hey freak girl!  What’s your problem?  Stuck in a pit, stupid?” She took this personally and grabbed one of the pebbles.  Carmen used her amazing baseball arm to throw the stone straight at the demon’s temple.  “What the?” The demon had no time to speak, he was out cold.  “Score!  There’s more where that came from, beasties!”  Carmen shook her fist at the clones and they took off.  She soon heard footsteps again, but this time, it wasn't a clone.  It was Kaleb.  “Hello there, Carmen.  My little friend needs a practice kill, and I think you and Lacy would be the perfect specimens.” Kaleb freed the two teens quickly into the pen.  “Now.  Meet my little helper.  Hell’s angel.  Amber.”  He opened the door in the pen and a short, skinny, brown haired girl walked into the arena. “Hullo there.  Prepare to die.”  Amber pulled out a sword and with one swing, she cut Lacy in half, her blood became a dark puddle in the dirt.  “Now, don't move and it'll be a quick, painless death.” Amber swung again but Carmen moved.  She ran across the pen, using her intelligence to beat this fool.  She faked a right and went left.  Amber was paying attention, and hit the wall.  “Gah…” She moaned.  “Impressive, young lady.  I will spare your life, if you help me on my mission.  I might even make you princess of the world,” said Kaleb.  “Make it Queen, and we'll have a deal…” Carmen huffed. “As you wish, Queen Carmen.  But here are the requirements…” Kaleb stood. “Find the others…  And bring them to me.  Alive.  Amber will help you.  And the boy named Levi.  He is a traitor.  You are to act like their friends, and lead them to me.  It shouldn't be that hard, but if you do run into trouble… You're a Queen now so the clones will come to your aid, if you wish it.”  Kaleb threw a sword to Carmen and she took it with great pleasure.
“Beautiful…” Carmen swung the sword that was as light as a feather but as sharp as a razor.
John was finally ready to reveal the truth.  This was getting out of hand.  He thought Kaleb was joking so many years ago when he said he’d take over the world, but he was wrong.  “Hey…  Ummm…  There’s something you should know…  The ‘Devil’ that you speak of is…  Err…  Kaleb…” Jessie jumped up, “I should have known!!  Him and his threats to us!  He'll pay for this!  He will!”  “Calm down, Jess.  Don't over react.  John, are you sure?” Katie questioned. “No one can be sure until we find out,” Levi jumped in.  “Keep out of this!  You idiot rapist!” snapped Jessie.  “Go to hell.  Oh wait.  We're already there.  Oh darn,” Levi sighed.  “Just shut your mouth, Levi.  Before I make you pay for the past,” Jessie fired back, preparing to fight him.  John grabbed Jessie and getting her away from Levi.  Levi snickered.  He held up his wrist, “They know.” That’s all he said.  Jessie stared at him wide-eyed with confusion.  ‘They know’? What the hell was that supposed to mean?  Levi stood up and pulled a hand gun from his belt, pointing it at John.  “John!” screamed Jessie.  It was too late.  Shots went off.  Screams were heard.  John and Jessie both fell to the ground.  Levi followed.  Katie blew the smoke from her gun and ran to John and Jessie, so did everyone else.  “Move it!  Move!  I need to help them!  Out of my way!” Daren pushed through the crowd.  Codey and Corey headed toward Levi just as he said his last words, “John Carter, dead.”  Levi fell to the ground with the crumpled list of names in his hand. John was bleeding.  He had passed out from loss of blood, and Jessie was sobbing.  She didn't want to lose John and Daren didn't want Jessie to be upset.  He was doing his best, putting medicine on his wound, wrapping it up with part of his own shirt and Jessie’s.  They laid John on one of the tables, letting him sleep.  Now they had the other person to deal with, Levi.
Levi fired a shot at John and Jessie pushed him out of range or else John would be dead because of the angle of the bullet, it would have hit him square in the heart, killing him almost instantly.  Katie had also helped by firing a shot at Levi, hitting him in the chest, most likely puncturing a lung by the amount of blood that surrounded his lifeless body.  The power of that shot was not normal though.  Something strengthened it.  Was it possible that when Katie saw her best friend was in danger that the love for her friend caused the bullet to increase in speed and power?  No way, thought Daren.  That world doesn't work like that.  But the mind might…  Daren thought about it and just decide to go with the logical explanation, it was luck.  Katie got lucky about hitting her mark.  Just luck he told himself…  But what if Regan is right…  What if there is someone playing the ‘Devil’ part and someone playing the part of ‘God’?  Forget it, he told himself.  That’s so...childish…
Carmen set off to find her targets.  This was going to be easy.  They would never know what happened.  Although…they were her friends and always helped her…  Forget it!, she told herself.  The Devil said to take her time, as long as in the end, she takes their lives.  This would be the easiest task ever.
