One night My father and I was driving back to our house. I was driving the vehicle and at the same time fighting my sleep. It was about 1:00 A.M. I was listening to the wind coming into the vehicle making a howling sound. I then went around another sharp turn then all of a sudden I get a glimps of a person. He ran right out in front of me. Right on top of a bridge. I ran over something that looked like a piece of plastic and metal. I suddenly stepped on my brakes causing a loud sceech and I then came to a haltering stop. I backed up and roled down my window. A man with a German accent said,"do you have a phone". I then realized there was blood pooring from the top of his head. Yes sir I am going to call the police. I got back in the car and parked it on the side of the road. I grabbed my dads' Mag light and walked up to the bridge; my heart was then pounding as I noticed that the white 4x4 Tahoe was turned upside down along the bank of the water. The man told me he was looking for his wife. She had been missing for about 4 minutes. We shined the flash light down and about 3 minutes later the man drug his wifes' lifeless body on the bank. The way she looked was horrifying; she was purple and blue with blood covered all over her. The man said,"melisa..........melisa......noooo...noooooooooo." as he was screaming this at the top of his lungs. He then starts crying,"you can't do this to me...... you can't". From the emotion that was going on I then started crying as well.... Then from the night;red and blue lights arived the police officer stoped extremely fast. He check the woman pulse he said,"She doesn't have a pulse". He then tryed mouth to mouth. He once again said,"No pulse". He then said to the other police officer go call dispatch and tell them we need an abulance. My dad asked him if he needed anything just let him know. The police officer said well be fine go on home. So we left to go home. I finally go t to go to bed, but was I fighting my sleep...No...I worried about what would come of the woman and the man. THE END.
