Natalie stood there in shock as the doctor informed her about her brother's death. Laurie rushed to her friends side and held her tightly as the news slowly processed through Natalie's brain that her only other sibling had died from the gunshot wound he'd inflicted. "We've called the police", the doctor said finally. "They should be arriving any..." his voice trailed off as he noticed two police officers coming up from behind the students.

"We've alerted all their parents", the dark haired officer said. "They should be arriving momentarily. Do any of you want to tell us what happened?", he asked, facing the remainder of the passengers. "We were kidnapped by our driver!", Tonya blurted. "He took us to this old house and held us captive, only it wasn't our usual driver. It was his twin brother, Logan." "So Logan kidnapped you?", the officer asked. "Yes", said Tonya. "And he killed Sophie, Layla, Jeremy, Ben, and Mr. Clemmons. And he shot Derrick in the shoulder." "Where is Derrick now?", asked the officer. 

"He's in the ER, being treated for his wound, but he'll be fine.", the doctor said. "Although, we did find an infection in the wound, probably due to the unsanitary conditions of the basement but we're working on draining out the infection. Other than that, he should be fine." "I see", replied the officer. "Go on", he said, facing Tonya. "He raped Libby and he thinks she's Emily, the love of his life. He's totally crazy!!"

The police officer just nodded his head. He turned to face the other students and one by one, they shared their encounter with this madman. "Where is he now?", the officer asked the students. "We don't know, but we left him at the dusty trail when we pulled off.", replied Libby. "Please arrest him before he does something else to us!!!" "We're going to find him, don't worry.", replied the officer.

Just then, a swarm of parents flooded the hospital where the students were standing. They all wanted to know just one thing: what had happened to their children that day. They listened in horror as their sons and daughters told them the events of such a horrible day. "You need to go out there and find this madman!", Libby's mother told the officers. "We're working on it maam. We've already called the station and given the description. They're already out there looking for him. We may come across a problem prosecuting, however." "What do you mean?", asked Natalie's father, through tears after the news of both his son's death. "Well, the children have identified Logan Clemmons as their captor.." he began. "Maam, the problem with identical twins is that everything's truly identical.", the doctor interrupted. "Their blood, their dna structure, and even their fingerprints." "Yes," said the officer. "And since they've identified Logan Clemmons as their captor, it makes it difficult to make the charges stick because we found his body in the basement. He's got a gunshot wound to his head."

"So that's good, right?", Natalie's father said. "No, sir", replied the officer. "According to the children, Larry Clemmons stole his brother's identity many years ago and has been living his life as Logan Clemmons. They've also said that the REAL Logan Clemmons, whose been living his life as Larry is their true captor." "What does all this mean?", asked Tonya's mother. "It means", began the other officer, "that we don't have any proof that Larry stole his brother's identity. For all we know, Logan Clemmons is dead and Logan Clemmons is their kidnapper." "So he's going to get away with this?", asked Natalie's father. "Unfortunately, there's a really good chance that he will, without proof that Larry stole Logan's identity.", the officer replied.

"I can't believe this!", Natalie's father stated. "There must be something you can do." "Well, we can take it to court and find out what the judge says, but as I stated before, unless we can find proof that Larry stole Logan's identity, there's not much of a case. The kids said Logan kidnapped them and Logan Clemmons, from what we understand, is dead. He had identification in his wallet that named him as Logan Clemmons. We can only assume that the one they said kidnapped them, will have identity showing he's Larry. Therefore, we couldn't prosecute."
