The students stood there in shock as their bus driver held the cold weapon in his hand, aiming it towards his passengers. Some students had slowly began to move slowly towards the back of the bus, keeping their eye closely on Mr. Clemmons. They needed to escape and fast before they wound up dead. 

"Go ahead and try to go out the back!", Mr. Clemmons said aloud, in a matter-of-fact voice. "Broke the key off in 'er this morning. That door ain't budging." Tonya and Libby looked at each other with tears in their eyes, both wondering the same thing but neither of them dared to say it out loud. They were spending their last precious moments on Earth together. No way was Mr. Clemmons going to let any one of them make it out alive.

"What are you going to do with us?", Derrick asked Mr. Clemmons in a frightened, but blunt tone. "I'm glad you asked that," began Mr. Clemmons. "We're going to play hide-and-seek for a while. I've got a really fun place for you to hide out here.", he smiled evilly.

"Why are you doing this, Mr. Clemmons?", cried Sophie, a freshman girl who typically sat near the front of the bus. "Oh, it's a little thing I like to call revenge in the sweetest way. He stole her from me! I loved that girl and he took her away from me!", Mr. Clemmons cried out angrily. "Now, I'm taking his whole life away from him. Just returning the favor, you see. Eye for an eye as the bible says."

The students just froze there, shocked and confused as Mr. Clemmons began instructing them to stand up in a single file line. "Now, follow me. If any of you dares try to run, I'll shoot you dead and on spot." He motioned the students to get off the bus and follow him.

They did as he instructed, following in a single file line off the bus and onto a dusty, rocky path through the woods. It seemed as though they had been forever when they saw an old run down house towards the top of the wooded hill. "Are we going in there?", Derrick asked. "You catch on fast.", Mr. Clemmons laughed. He led them in the front door of the house and down a long, narrow hallway. They came to a door off the kitchen and Mr. Clemmons opened it abruptly and ordered them down the stairs.

They did as they were told, fearing the worst if they dared disobey him. They started down the stairway where they heard a familiar voice. They were startled and bewildered as they all stood facing in each other at the bottom of these basement stairs. Mr. Clemmons was at the top of the stairs, carefully locking the door from the outside. "What's going on?", Derrick asked. "Two Mr. Clemmons's???" The familiar voice they heard was none other than their bus driver, Mr. Clemmons being held captive in the same basement that their bus driver forced them into. 

"I don't get it", Layla began. "That guy could pass as your twin!", she told Mr. Clemmons. "Yeah, well that's because he is.", Mr. Clemmons responded.
