The next day Meg is standing by her locker waiting for her friend Nataly. Meg is wearing blue cheer shorts a white long-sleeved shirt with her softball jersey on top. “Meg hey Meg” she hears turning her head to see who it was. “Oh hey” she says looking up and seeing Jarred wearing jeans and a Hollister t-shirt and white sneakers. “Hey I tried calling you last night.” Meg looks confused “you did? I mean I stopped picking up my phone at 8:30 because Tim kept calling telling me that he loves me and stuff.” “Oh ok do you want me to walk you to class?” Jarred asked getting red. “Sure” so Meg gets her stuff out of her locker. Jarred walks next to Meg and says “hey can we talk over here really quick” he points near the water fountain. “Um sure” Meg says.  So they walk over and Jarred looks at Meg and goes “Meg I have liked you for awhile, actually ever since I saw you cheering at my match so I was wondering would you like to be my girlfriend?” Meg smiles and goes “of course I would love to.” Jarred smiles and goes great so they begin to walk toward Meg’s friends when Jarred grabs Megs hand and holds it. She smiles and then Natalie looks at Meg and glares because she liked Jarred since the 8^th grade. Meg looks at Jarred and says “hey can you excuse me really quick?” “Sure” he smiles and walks to his friends. Meg walks up to Natalie and goes “hey I’m so sorry I totally forgot you still liked Jarred but I know somebody that likes you” Natalie looks at her and goes “WHO!” “Ethan Jarred’s friend” Meg says and smiles. Natalie looks at her and goes well “Ethan pretty hot.” The bell for first period rings and Meg goes “well I better get going Jarred is waiting for me. Talk to you online tonight at like 9:00pm.”
