Curiosity Kills the Cat 5- The Truth
|
Destruction. Fear. Chaos. Screams. I can’t discern what’s going on. A man. Children. Darkness.
Todd-24
I’m alone. I don’t know where my parents went, but my sister went outside to see who was screaming, and she hasn’t come back! It’s been five minutes! I can’t see her anywhere. There’s something moving down the street! I’m so scared!
Laura-7
I don’t know who he is, but he looks familiar; something about his face. There are children behind him.
Maura-12
Dear Town’s people,
My name is Joey Bales. I’ve left the walls of your peace, leaving behind my contribution to your history, but as I left, I felt a pang of regret. I can’t leave my babies. So, I’ve decided to come back. When each of you get a copy of this letter, you may or may not see me walking down the streets of your town. Behind me my children; my beautiful children.
“It’s him! He’s come back!”
“It’s about time. I don’t know why he left in the first place.”
“Hello, girls.”
“Joey, why’d you go away?”
“I’m sorry, I thought I left you to die, but apparently we’re supposed to spend eternity together.”
“Oh Joey!”
Please, if you read this, take in each word, sentence, meaning carefully. Something beyond belief has happened in our small town. How are we going to keep our children safe? How are we going to protect ourselves from this uncommon evil? My answer is, I have no idea.
Joey Bales. He’s the cause of the deaths. As I write this, I myself am skeptical, but I know it’s the truth. He was born and raised into an abusive household. When he grew up, he had abusive tendencies, and at the age of thirty-four, he threw himself off the top of a building and suffered fatal injuries, dying the day after.
The only thing is, his spirit still roams this earth, killing at midnight. It’s the truth, folks. Look outside your windows. Do you see him? Do you see May and June? They’re with him. The last two he killed. The two girls are now doing the killing, but he remains with them. Three lost souls, killing to gather an army, a coven.
After this, ladies and gentleman, I think I’ll be capable of believing in anything… that is, if I’m alive to believe at all.

That’s my June he has! That’s MY JUNE!
Samantha-35
There is a struggle to open a cabinet. Then, after a few minutes of silence, a gunshot fills the small house and the neighboring air. Joey, May, and June stand outside waiting patiently. Another soul they have won.

This one was a bit confusing...But I like how you written it. Like the different ages of the children. Where they dead or...? Was that a suicide note? Just seems like it should go on... :D Love it and don't want it to end :( |
