    "Yeah I kinda noticed they were bigger. So does this mean I'm going to suck at bull ridin'?" I asked. " No you just need practice. You can come over here as much as you want to practice I'll even borrow some better bulls when you can stay on Buckwheat for the full eight seconds." " Really? Why are you doing this for me? Why don't you do this for Billy?" " Billy?." he laughed. " He doesn't want to ride bulls just those horses, plus he's looking forward to you quiting horses so he can actually win." he laughed again.

    "Yeah I guess that is smart of him." I laughed. " You want to try again?" He asked. " Yeah." We got Buckwheat back into the box and I got on. i tightened my grip as hard as I could and raised my hand. I was more confident this time. Bill opened the gate and we flew out and I fell straight off and jumped the fence. " " one second." " You got to be shitting me." " Nope, you got to get used to it. It might take a while but you will." " I don't have a while. I only have six days." "Did you think you can just get on a bull and know what your doin? Damn boy you just thought you'd start and be the best right then. Sometimes it takes years to be as good as the pros."

    "It's only going to take me six days." I even convinced myself it would only take that long but I didn't fool Bill. Bill rode for twenty years so he knows all about it. " Six days huh?" he smiled. " I like your attitude but don't get your hopes up because when you ride next Saturday and loose i don't wanna see you cry. I tell you what, I'll practice with you everyday i can this week and when i can't Billy will help you." " What makes you think Billy will help me?" " He wants to be the best in horse ridin so he'll help trust me." 

    I tried three more times and not once did I make it over two seconds.I gave up after that and it was about one in the morning. Bill let me sleep over since I was really tired and I didn't need to be driving that late.
