Her heart beats against mine as we lay under the milky sky on the soft green grass. This night is soon to end as I hold her tight, wishing that it never will. If I was to pray for anything in my life it would be to make this night last a life time, for my love to only ever grow.

This night has been like a dream, the stars shone bright the air was clear. I could never have asked for a better way to spend it. As we lay hand in hand on the grass, staring at the stars I lean over and kiss her softly on the lips. As we gaze into each other eyes I could have ask for nothing better, she’s different to most. She understands, she listens but most of all she cares and will never give up.

Whether she feels as deeply as I do or not, I will treasure this night in a memory that could never be forgotten. Laying here be it in silence or not, being with her for this night is all I ask. Now our time is up we cannot be together any longer, I wish not to hurt her, but our time is over and I must leave. What we have cannot be; distance is our worst enemy. One day it may change but it may be too late for what we shared is now lost, but our friendship we will always have.
