Kiss me i'm contagious: A sonny moore romance:part five through seven
|
It was four days later, June 19th, and we were in Kansas City. I had pretended like I hadn’t heard Sonny say all those things that night. Matt seemed like he hadn’t told either. I had been hanging out with the guys at their tent and around the stage every day. I was getting pretty close to all of them now. Every time I got a little intimate with Sonny, the voice in my head would come back and remind me of how I looked.
Right now I was walking around the place with Sonny. We were on the way to the stage for their set. He was holding my hand. We had to stop every few seconds for him to sign autographs. The path ahead seemed to be clear so he asked me,
“Since we have a day off tomorrow, would you like to spend the night on our bus?” I was surprised at first. “You can sleep on my bunk, and I’ll sleep on the floor if that makes you feel comfortable.”
“I’d love to stay with you guys. We’ll see who sleeps where when the time comes,” I said with a smile. He kissed my cheek. My heart was beating so fast now as he smiled at me that I thought it would pop out of my chest, or at least that Sonny could hear it.
“What are you doing? Have you forgotten how ugly you are? He’s going to laugh at you when he sees you in your tiny pajamas. You stupid bitch,” the voice in my head said. My smile quavered, but I tried to block it out. I was going to have a good time with the guy that I loved. What more could I want?
==============================
Sonny and I were lying down on his bunk. The other guys were already asleep. We were just cuddling and catching up even more. Right now we were talking about our hair.
“Your hair is really long and black,” I was saying. “It’s just too boring. You need to go back to the way it was before I left, short and some bright streaks.”
“Well, your hair is almost the same. Didn’t you used to have chunky aqua streaks with the black?” he asked. I nodded and smiled. “I see you got your cartilage pierced again.”
“Yeah, I’m addicted to piercings. I’m thinking of getting either my lip or my eyebrow pierced. I’m not sure yet.”
“Either way you’ll still look beautiful to me.” He kissed my forehead and I beamed.
“He’s lying to you. He’ll never think you’re beautiful. You’re too ugly. Why did you eat all of that food in front of those guys earlier? Go get it out right now!” the voice told me. I blushed.
“I have to go to the bathroom. I don’t feel so well,” I said climbing over him. He looked bummed.
I got into the little bathroom and got my toothbrush off the counter. I figured the bus was loud enough where I wouldn’t need to turn the water on. I shoved it down my throat. Not far enough. I shoved it even farther to where the top of my fist was in my mouth. I moved my hand just in time for all of it to come rushing out in the toilet. I started crying and did it again and again. Nothing else would come out when I tried again.
I stood up and rinsed my face off and brushed my teeth. I dared not look in the mirror to see my hideous face again. Why would Sonny think I was beautiful? The voice was right. He must be lying to me. I walked out to find him standing by the door. I jumped and put my hand to my chest.
“You scared the shit out of me!” I said.
“Sorry, I had to go to the bathroom too,” he said looking a little ticked off. I nodded my head and went back to his bunk. I crawled under the covers and breathed in his scent on the pillow. I closed my eyes and smiled. I heard stomping that stopped right in front of me. I opened my eyes to see Sonny standing there looking beyond ticked off. He was also holding something, but I didn’t see what it was. He got under the covers next to me.
“Did you get sick in the bathroom?” he asked trying to control anger in his voice.
“Yeah, sometimes I get motion sickness,” I said feeling a little scared.
“Liar,” he said barely audible.
“What?”
“LIAR!” he screamed. I heard some of the guys snoring stop and then resume. He pulled my toothbrush from under the covers. I sat up.
“What are you talking about?”
“You shoved this down your fucking throat!” he whisper-yelled.
“No I didn’t. You have no proof of that anyway,” I said starting to get mad.
“The end is still wet from your spit and the bristles reek with puke!” I took it from his hand and threw it on the ground. I straddled him and held his arms down by his head. I put my face inches from his.
“What about you Sonny? ‘Waltz Moore’ much? Can you eat something without shoving your hand down your throat? Have you seen your eyes? Do you still feel ugly all the time?” I asked maliciously trying to get him back.
“No,” he said looking away. I stared at him looking triumphant. “I don’t do that anymore.”
“How would I know that?”
“I swear on my mother’s grave,” he said seriously looking into my eyes.
“Which one?” I said in a deadly whisper. He pushed me with so much force that I kind of screamed from surprise. My head hit the wall, and everything went black.
==============================
I woke up with an aching in the back of my head that was horrible. I put my hand to it and winced. I heard crying and opened my eyes. Sonny’s face was right above mine with tears on his cheeks. I scooted backward in fear to find something was in my way. I looked to see it was Matt. I buried myself in his arms and started crying. He stroked my hair shushing me. I could hear someone else sobbing even more. It was Sonny, I knew. He got up and walked into the bathroom.
“Are you okay, Stacey?” Travis asked rubbing my back.
“I need some Tylenol. My head hurts really fucking bad,” I said.
“Okay. Hang on a sec.” Matt said into my ear in his extremely soothing voice,
“It’ll all be okay. I won’t let anything bad happen again.” This made me cry even more. Someone cared about me. These four guys who had known me for only four days were helping me.
“Here’s your Tylenol and some water,” Travis said sitting down by me on the floor. I let go of Matt and took the bottle and pills.
“Thanks Travis,” I said. I swallowed the pills and drank the whole bottle. Derek and Wes were sitting at the table rubbing their heads and looking solemn. Matt looked angry and sad at the same time. Travis looked at me with pity. “You guys, I didn’t die. You don’t have to look so sad.”
“Poppit, that’s not the only thing we have to worry about,” Wes said half-smiling.
“Yeah, Sonny was so mad at himself for doing that to you, that he kept slamming his head against the wall. Wes and I had to hold him down,” Derek said.
“And I had to hold Matt back from killing Sonny,” Travis said. I giggled. They all smiled weakly.
“How did you know what he did, though?” I asked.
“He was saying it in between sobs.”
“Oh. Listen, I’m really sorry for this happening. This is just something you’ll be worrying about when you have a day off, and that’s not what I wanted to happen. As soon as we stop, I’ll get off and go back to my bus so you don’t have to deal with the problems I bring with me everywhere I go.”
“Don’t you dare tell us sorry,” Matt said. “It’s not your fault.”
“Yeah, it is. You don’t know why he got mad at me.”
“Who cares? He had no right to do that.”
“I’m really tired. I’d like to go to sleep, please.”
“Okay, you crash on my bunk, and I’ll sleep on Sonny’s. We’ll make him sleep out here on the floor if he ever comes out of the bathroom,” Derek said.
“Okay thanks.” They all hugged me and I walked to his bunk. I heard Sonny as I passed to door bawling. I sighed and got on the bed and under the covers. I wondered how things were going to be now.
Today we were in Nashville, Tennessee. The forecast said it was going to be hot. It was nine o’clock in the morning, and I was already sweating. I just stepped off the bus too.
Yesterday I had stayed away from FFTL’s bus. Matt, Travis, Derek, and Wes had taken me out to some diner, though. They told me that Sonny was still in the bathroom crying.
“Him hurting you like that was his way of telling you that he was lying to you the whole time,” the voice in my head said.
“He did that because you told me to throw up!” I yelled out loud. People stared at me. I blushed and ran away. I went to the tent in front of the main stages. Today I was set to sell Vans shirts there. I was glad I was there because I could see the skate ramp from my tent today. I helped unpack all the boxes and set the shirts out on the tables. I sat down in my chair and prepared for the longest day of the year. After all, it was the first day of Summer.
==============================
I watched all the people go by for hours and hours. FFTL was playing in fifteen minutes, and the group in front of the empty stage was steadily growing even though Senses Fail was playing right next to it. Those people must have been some dedicated fans.
I didn’t want to see Sonny. I thought I might start crying. I was sweating even more thinking about seeing him. I took off my tank top to where I was only wearing my bra. I also took off my pants. Good thing I decided to wear boy shorts for underwear.
“Okay, we wanna thank you guys for coming out in this hot ass weather. From First To Last is next, so enjoy and check out our CD!” the singer from Senses Fail shouted as guitar feedback came through the speakers. Most of the crowd filed in behind the load of people that were already in front of the other stage. Some kind of feedback was coming through the speakers now and the crowd was going crazy. The guys were walking out now.
“Mothersound, what have they done to you? You’re withering away in the cold. Mothersound, once again the world’s molested you. It took your soul,” Sonny sang. Luckily, tears weren’t threatening to come from my eyes. The first song was over and he said, “Okay I wanna see people being taken away by security and some fucking moshing going on now!”
“They’re amazing!” the guy in my tent shouted over the music.
“I know! Have you met them yet?” I shouted back. He shook his head.
“Well, you should. They’re all awesome guys!”
“I definitely will later at their signing.” I nodded and watched the crowd respond. It was crazy. I was just glad I wasn’t in there. I probably would’ve been beaten up by accident because of my size.
“I’m gonna take a break!” I yelled at the guy. He nodded and kept watching the guys. I walked away to my bus. I stepped inside to get out of the heat. My god, it felt good. I decided to put on my swimsuit and short denim shorts. I was definitely going to go on that slip and slide near the entrance. I laid down on my bed and closed my eyes.
“Did you get sick in the bathroom?” Sonny’s voice played in my head.
“Yeah, sometimes I get motion sickness,” I replied.
“Liar.”
“What?”
“LIAR!” he screamed.
“What are you talking about?”
“You shoved this down your fucking throat!”
“No I didn’t. You have no proof of that anyway,” I said.
“The end is still wet from your spit and the bristles reek with puke!”
“What about you Sonny? ‘Waltz Moore’ much? Can you eat something without shoving your hand down your throat? Have you seen your eyes? Do you still feel ugly all the time?” I asked maliciously.
“No,” he said quietly. “I don’t do that anymore.”
“How would I know that?”
“I swear on my mother’s grave,” he said seriously.
“Which one?” I said in a deadly whisper. He pushed me with so much force that I kind of screamed from surprise. My head hit the wall, and everything went black.
I woke up. I looked at the clock at the end of my pillow. It said that it was 3:30 now. I should be getting back to the tent now. Someone knocked on the door of the bus. I got up and opened it. Matt was standing there.
“Hey, how was your set? I only saw the first two songs,” I said letting him in.
“It was great,” he said walking up the stairs past me to the table.
“Whoo, yeah, I can tell by the way you smell,” I said fanning the air around my face.
“You don’t smell like a flower either.” I sat down across from him and we laughed.
“So, how’s…Sonny?”
“He’s pretty sick. He’s on the bus puking his brains out. He got way overheated. He can barely talk too.”
“Really? I think I might see him later.”
“I don’t know if that’s such a good idea.”
“I said might. If I decide to see him, I’ll make sure you’re there too. Where are you gonna be?”
“We’re gonna be hanging out with The Academy Is… for the afternoon, so Sonny can get plenty of rest. He probably won’t be able to go to the signing tonight. So just come and get me if you want.”
“Sure thing. I gotta go back to the tent. I told the guy I was taking a break and I’ve been gone for nearly an hour. I fell asleep.” He laughed at me and hugged me.
“See you later.”
“Bye.” We walked in opposite directions. If it was possible, it seemed like it got even hotter. I walked in through the entrance and went on the slip and slide before going to the tent.
“Where were you?” the guy shouted over the music.
“I accidentally fell asleep! Sorry!” I yelled back. He nodded and I took my place back in my chair.
==============================
“I have to go to the bathroom!” I yelled to the guy. He nodded. It was about five o’clock now as I made my way past all the tents and other stages to the bathrooms. I did my business and walked out to the lemonade stand nearby. I got frozen lemonade and started to walk back to my tent. There was a girl with long black hair and fuchsia streaks in it wearing a gray tank top and green and yellow plaid shorts, a girl with short blonde hair wearing jeans and a black t-shirt, and a large bald man wearing glasses and a red t-shirt and khaki shorts. The black haired girl sat up and said,
“I guess we can go now. I mean, there’s still two hours until the signing starts. We’re all tired, hot, and hungry, so let’s just leave.” She said looking away from the two people. I thought she was about to cry.
“Yeah, because what if Sonny’s not even there. It would be just our luck to stay and him not be there,” the blonde girl said.
“True. Are you sure you girls want to leave?” the man asked. They both nodded and stood up. I saw a tear fall quickly down the black haired girl’s cheek. She wiped it away and picked up her bag. I walked over to them.
“I couldn’t help but hear you guys talking. Did you mean Sonny, as in Sonny Moore?” I asked. The girls nodded. “Would you like to meet him? He definitely won’t be at the signing later. He got pretty sick from the heat and is resting now.”
“Of course we’d like to meet him!” the black haired girl said.
“What are your names?”
“Keely,” she said. (me: FYI, that’s me :].)
“Johniann,” the other girl said.
“Those are some unique names. Mine’s Stacey,” I said smiling at them.
“Are you really taking us to meet him?” Johniann asked.
“Of course. Why would I lie about something like that?” She shrugged her shoulders. I led them to gate that the buses were behind. The security guard eyed the three of them suspiciously. “It’s okay. They’re with me.” I showed him my pass and he nodded. “So did you two enjoy the show earlier?”
“Fuck yes!” Keely said. “It was the best time of my life even though I felt like I was gonna throw up from the heat!” I laughed. “Sorry Felix. Couldn’t contain my enthusiasm,” she said directed at the man. He just rolled his eyes.
“Okay, wait here. I’m gonna see if he’s decent,” I said. They laughed. I walked up the stairs to see Sonny sitting down at the table staring out the opposite window. “Perk up. There are two people here to see you.” He jumped at the sound of my voice. He looked at me, and I saw tears form. “DON’T fucking cry now Sonny. I’m serious.” I walked back out before he could say anything. “Okay girls, come on in.” Johniann walked up the stairs first followed by Keely, then me. The man decided to wait outside.
“Hi girls,” Sonny said.
“Hey Sonny,” they said together.
“Here, sit down.” He pointed to the seat on the other side of the table. “What are your names?”
“I’m Johniann, and this is Keely,” Johniann said. Keely was sitting there smiling so big. I smiled too. I’m glad I helped these girls fulfill one of their dreams.
“Did you like the show earlier?”
“Yeah, it was the best fucking thing like ever!” Keely said. “I almost got squished to death and knocked into the mosh pit, but it was all worth it.” Sonny laughed.
“I have your spit in my hair,” Johniann said. He laughed even harder.
“Me too.”
“I’m glad you enjoyed it,” Sonny said.
“Of course. It’s a break from the heat too, so I’m definitely not complaining,” Johniann said.
“We were about to leave because it was too hot to wait for the signing, when Stacey walked up to us. She’s so nice,” Keely said. I blushed when Sonny looked at me and smiled.
“Yeah, she’s great,” he said. “So do want me to sign anything or something like that?”
“Ooh yes! Our shirts, then do the voicemails on our phones, and then take a picture with us. If that’s not too much.” She had a hopeful smile.
“Of course it’s not too much. Let me get a sharpie.” I handed him one from the counter next to me. They put their Warped Tour shirts on the table. “Where would you like me to sign?”
“All over and make it really big too,” Johniann said. He did it to both shirts.
“Now for the cell phones.” Keely got hers out first and got it ready to record the greeting. “This is Sonny Moore from the band From First To Last, and Keely can’t answer her phone because she’s too busy listening to our music. She’ll call you back later.”
“Oh my gosh! Thank you soooo much!” she said overjoyed when he handed it back to her.
“Anything for the fans,” he said smiling. He did the same greeting for Johniann; only he said her name instead of Keely’s. “Do you want a picture with all of us together or separately?”
“Both. If you don’t mind.”
“I don’t. One of you get in here,” he said standing up. Johniann got in the long seat. He sat down. “Now Keely, you sit right here on the outside.” She did and I grabbed their cameras.
“Sonny, for Christ’s sake, put your arms around them,” I said. He did and they all smiled. “1,2,3.” I clicked the first camera’s button. “1,2,3.” I clicked the second camera’s button. “Okay, which one is whose?” Johniann pointed to hers, and I scooted over to where it was just the two of them in the frame. “1,2,3.” Then, I did the same for Keely’s camera.
“Stacey would you please get my camera from my bag under my bunk? I want a picture too,” he said. I nodded and got it. I shuddered when I went back there. My toothbrush was still on the floor. I walked back and sat down again. I snapped the picture of them together.
“All done,” I said.
“Thank you so much,” Johniann said to Sonny and me. Keely got out, then Sonny, and then her. I stood up too.
“You’re welcome,” we said together.
“I love your music and tell the other guys the same thing. I can’t wait for your next record, and I’m definitely seeing ya’ll in concert again!” Keely said.
“Haha, ya’ll. I love the South,” Sonny said. We all laughed. Sonny gave both of them hugs.
“And I wanna thank you, Stacey for bringing us here. You’re the greatest,” Johniann said hugging me.
“Same here,” Keely said hugging me too.
“It was really no problem, girls. I just didn’t wanna see you depressed like that,” I said. They smiled and we said goodbye. Johniann went out first. Keely was about to shut the door before she came back up the stairs and said,
“Whatever’s going on with you guys, I hope it all works out.” She smiled and walked out. The door shut. I saw them walking away through the window. Sonny and I looked at each other. He was about to open his mouth when I walked out. I slammed the door and leaned against it.
Tears fell down my face remembering that night and also at the care in Keely’s words. She didn’t even know me, but she still cared enough to give me her best wishes. She was definitely a sweet girl.
I started walking away toward the stages as I wiped the tears away. I saw Sonny in the window wiping his eyes too. When would I get up enough courage to talk to him about this?
I was hanging out with William Beckett, the vocalist from The Academy Is…, at a local diner that was empty besides us. He had found me crying earlier in the grass behind their bus in the dark. He insisted on taking me out to eat. I agreed but only to know what his true motive was. We were waiting for our food now. He asked,
“So, Stacey, who’s your favorite band on the tour?”
“From First To Last,” I said trying to keep myself from crying anymore.
“Those guys are crazy. I love to hang out with them. Sonny has so much energy and such a loud voice. It’s hard to believe all of that could come out of someone his size.” I nodded putting my head in my hands.
“Pull yourself together, Stacey. You don’t want this guy to think you’re so fucked up that you can’t even stop crying for five minutes,” I said to myself. I took a deep, shuddering breath.
“Is there something going on between you two? You seemed to have gotten upset when I mentioned him,” William said with concern.
“I’m sorry William,” I said looking up.
“Call me Will, and answer my question please. I’d like to help.”
“Okay, Will. What do you mean ‘Is there anything going on between us’?”
“You tell me.” I thought for a second about whether or not I should tell him. I decided yes.
“I don’t usually open up to new people like this, but I really need someone to talk to.”
“Okay, and I won’t tell anyone if that’s what you’re worried about. Scout’s honor.” He held up the sign. I smiled and so did he.
“Alright. Sonny and I were together for four years until my dad got a job transfer to Syracuse, New York. We lived in Los Angeles before Syracuse. I never wanted to leave him, so I was depressed in New York. I stopped writing to him because I thought I’d never see him again. I was just really fucked up, but I don’t wanna go all into that because it would take too long.
“Back to the present, I got a job on Warped Tour staff and found Sonny the first day. We took a walk, and I kept pushing him away even though I still love him. We kept hanging out and whatnot over the days, and the night before we all had a day off I slept on their bus.
“Sonny found out about something that I did, and I asked him if he did it too and dangled his adoption thing in his face. He blew up and threw me against the wall. I ended up getting knocked out.” Will’s eyes were bulging.
“Oh my god! No way! He could never do that!” he said shocked.
“That’s what I thought, but it happened. The rest of the guys told me that they had to hold Matt back from trying to kill Sonny and even had to hold Sonny down so he’d stop hitting himself. It’s just all so fucked up, and I’m in way over my head. I don’t know how to deal with this on top of my other problems.”
“So that’s why you were crying earlier?” I nodded. I could feel tears forming in my eyes now.
“And all of these people I’ve just met that care for me. The other guys in FFTL are so amazing. They’re the first friends I’ve had in two years and also the first people I’ve believed actually cared about me enough to talk to me instead of sending me to someone else to talk to or buying my affection.” The food was here. I looked at my small hamburger with disgust. Will had a huge hamburger with all the condiments piled on it. He took a bite out of it and asked after swallowing,
“What do you mean about the last part?”
“My mom sent me to a psychiatrist, and my dad just buys me a lot of stuff. I guess he thinks it’ll make me less fucked up. I’ve been stuck inside my own head for so long. These people have brought all my feelings out. It’s overwhelming.”
“I totally understand. You can open up to me too. I’m a very good listener and an even better secret-keeper.” He winked and I smiled.
“Also, a girl that had been around me for only about ten minutes this afternoon said something so nice to me and Sonny.”
“What did she say and how did you meet her?”
“Her and her friend were about to leave because it was too hot even though they wanted to meet Sonny at the signing later, so I took them to him at the bus. I guess she sensed something was wrong between us by the way we looked at each other and said ‘Whatever’s going on with you guys, I hope it works out’.” I started crying. “It was one of the nicest things anyone’s ever said to me.” Will scooted in the booth with me. He wrapped his arms around me and said,
“Please, no more crying. Everything will be okay, I promise. If it doesn’t, you can throw rocks at me.” I laughed. “You can tell me anything too. I want to help you.” I started crying again.
“You’re so nice,” I said between sobs. He patted my back.
“I asked you not to cry anymore, please. Wanna go now?” I nodded. He pulled me by my hand out of the booth and kept holding it as we walked out into warm night air. I wiped my eyes with my other hand and stopped walking. He turned around. “Piggyback ride?” I nodded and jumped on his back as he leaned down.
“Thanks. I hope I’m not too heavy,” I said.
“It’s no problem, and you’re light as a feather. How much do you weigh?”
“I don’t know, like eighty pounds, I think.”
“I think you need to gain some weight.”
“Whatever.”
“It’s true.” I didn’t say anything. We were silent for the rest of the walk to the buses. It wasn’t really that long. “Which one’s yours?”
“The one closest to the gate.”
“Okay, do you want me to drop you off there, or do you want to come and meet the rest of the band?”
“I wanna meet your guys, then you can take me home.” We laughed. When we passed FFTL’s bus, it looked like no one was on it. We finally got to where we could see Will’s bus, and FFTL was there. All of them. I gasped and could feel chunks rising up into my throat. Will turned his head to mine.
“Oh, right. I’ll take you somewhere else, and you can meet the guys later,” he said turning around and running so none of them would notice us.
Sonny’s POV
Travis had finally convinced me to come out of the bus to hang out with The Academy Is. I had been crying, throwing up, and sleeping all afternoon since Stacey left. Why was she acting so distant now, and why did I have to hurt her like that? She’s probably scared of me now. That’s why she left after Keely and Johniann did. I just knew it.
We were all sitting outside TAI’s bus talking about the day. I was trying to pretend I was having a good time, but I don’t think it was working very well. I glanced to my left and saw something. It was Will and Stacey. She was on his back, and they were going the opposite direction from the bus.
“I’m not feeling very well. I’m sorry, but I really need to go back to the bus and sleep. See you guys tomorrow,” I said standing up. They all said goodbye and wished me to feel better. I nodded and ran away in the direction Will was going. I saw the dust rising off the ground from his footsteps. I followed it past my bus and nearly to the front.
When I turned a corner I saw something that made my heart stop, my breathing stop, and caused me to fall down on my knees. Tears spilled from my eyes as I held my head in my hands trying not to look. My curiosity got the best of me, though, and I couldn’t help but look. His lips on hers, her kissing him back, it was too much for me. I passed out there in a puddle of tears.
Stacey’s POV (before Sonny turned the last corner)
Will put me down, and we leaned against a bus as he caught his breath. I looked around and remembered not seeing anyone outside of their buses on the way. The moonlight glowing down on all of it and the gravel was eerie. It was like a ghost town and Will and I were the only ones there.
“Since you’ve been so honest with me, I want to be honest with you,” he said stepping in front of me. I nodded afraid of what he was going to say next. “I have been watching you from a distance this whole tour. I think you’re one of the most gorgeous girls I’ve ever seen. The moment I saw you, I wanted to be next to you and feel you in my arms. When I heard you crying, I knew it would be a perfect time to talk to you. I want to get to know you and help you get over your problems. I just want to be with you all the time, even if we’re only friends.”
“Wow, I don’t know what to say,” I said looking into his eyes. I could see a longing for love in them and maybe even a little lust. There was also sadness. It was flattering to know he felt like this. I wanted to cry again from all the happiness I was feeling.
“Then don’t say anything at all.” He picked me up from my butt and held me to his hips against the bus. We inched our lips toward one another’s, and when they met, it was like someone recharging my body. Our tongues softly moved around, tingles shot from every angle, and I felt like I could run laps around the world. We stopped after a few minutes. I bit part of my lip while smiling at him.
“That was amazing,” I said. He smiled.
“I’m sorry. I know I shouldn’t have done that, but I just had to.”
“It’s fine, really. I enjoyed it.”
“Well, that’s good.” We stared into each other’s eyes for a while until I broke the comfortable silence,
“We should be getting back to our buses. I think we’ll be leaving soon.”
“Yeah, you’re right. I’ll see you tomorrow, then.”
“Definitely.” We kissed again and walked in our opposite directions. I cut between a bus and ran to my own. I was happy again. Maybe it was time to get over Sonny.
Will’s POV
Stacey was beyond amazing. She was one of those tragic beauties; the kind that’s beautiful when it’s sad, but you hate to see it so sad so you try to help it. I walked back in the direction of my bus still smiling widely until I saw something on the ground in front of me. I walked faster until I realized it was a person. I ran to it. It was Sonny.
WHEW these things are exhausting i hope you liked it ppl who mailed me asking for the new versions NOW here they are!
