My love for him will always last, but sadly our love was short. It was real and passoninate, but sadly short. My name is Kim, and my boyfriend's name was Derrick. We were highschool sweetharts in 12th grade.

 Our senior year was almost over, and it was the night of prom. I had on my purple long dress, that had a ruffled bottom, it was perfect. My hair was up in a nice fashion updo, and my prom date was hear. I walked to the door, and there he stood in a nice black tuexedo. (sorry if spelled wrong)

 I made my way out the door, to meet my two friends, Nick and Jess. They have been dating since 9th grade, and we were double dating to prom! We arrived, and I was so excited, we got our pictures taken and dance on the fast songs. The first slow dance came, and I got close to him, the passion that ran through our eyes was amazing, and then our lips touched and we kissed. Then the passion kiss ended, and I was in a dream land. We smiled at each other. About 1 hour later Prom King and Queen were announced, we hadn't won. Nick and Jess did, I smiled and cheered for them. Derrick did too, and I hugged him and said, "We tried." he nodded back.

 After prom was over, the four of us headed to the hotel along with the rest of the prom. Derrick and I had our own room, and I was so happy again! Derrick and I were both virgins and tonight was gonna be the night. Its sad that every tenn normally looses their virginity at prom, and Derrick and I were gonna do just that. I walked into the room, he picked me up and carried me to the bed. I giggled. I knew love had struck me, and then we kissed. It was a passionate makeout, and then we fell to the bed. He undressed me and I did that to him. We made the most romantic love, and then when it ended I cried. I was relieved and in love. I took a shower, then he did. I laid in the bed proud and in love.

 It was around 3:00 a.m when Nick ran into our room, bloody. He was studdering very freaked out like, "Jess...she...killed..people..guns..coming this way." I woke up to him saying this, and said, "Jess?" he nodded and I covered my mouth in horrid, I looked at Derrick, and he looked at me. I shook my head no, but he nodded, kissed my forehead and headed out the room with Nick. I locked the door. I could hear people crying and screaming, blood was thrown onto the windows from people being killed. I cried myself back to sleep. I woke up the next day in a hospital, my mom and dad crying beside me. They said that Derrick had been killed, along with Nick. That only a few people had survived. I was sad, but yet happy. Sad because I lost the only person I loved, and happy for that I had survived.
