Jenny and I drove around for like an hour we went to grab some lunch and decided to try heading back and hoped not to run into Ben. When we got back we noticed his car was still there so we decided to go in the door closest to our room and hope we don’t run into him. We made it to the room got all our stuff and went to check out. But of course Ben was in the lobby.

“Jessi why don’t you go wait in the car while I check us out so you don’t have to deal with Ben?”

“No I’ll be fine I don’t need to run away like a 2 year old.” I didn’t even look at him the whole time but I couldn’t stop wondering what he was going to do…

“Jess….I’m so sorry I know I should have told you but I didn’t want you to….well do this.”

“Looks like you took the wrong choice…you should have told me first.”

“I know but we can get through this…and me and the baby’s mom aren’t together any more.”

“Well you know I don’t want to be any part of this. We are still in high school…I don’t want to have to deal with kids now.”

“It was a mistake I didn’t mean for it to happen.”

“no one ever does Ben but I don’t want to be part of it…we are leaving just please leave me alone.” I said as Jenny and I walked out of the hotel. Of course Ben had followed us out to our car.

“Can we talk later when we are all home.” Sadness appeared on my face.

“I will never be “home” again.” With that we drove away. It was silent for a while. I couldn’t stand the silence so I had to start some sort of conversation with Jen.

“So when are you going to find a boyfriend? There has to be someone you like!!”

“I don’t know I don’t really like any one right now.”

“You must like someone Jen! Every one likes someone.”

“Then who do you like Jess?” I looked down I knew it would take me a little while to get over Ben so I guess you could say in till then I still “liked” him but I wasn’t sure if that was like or not….I was pretty mad at him….

“Jenny that’s different and you know it…I’m in a hard spot.” With that that conversation had ended.

We got home and it was still pretty early so Jenny and I decided to go to the mall to get my mind off some things. We walked around for awhile and got tons of stuff. Then I noticed Jenny eye-balling someone.

“Nice pick!” I whispered. Jenny just gave me a don’t go there look. “oh come on hes really hot! Is he from your school?”

“Yeah but he is nothing come on.” I could totally tell she liked him and wasn’t about to let the conversation drop.

“What’s his name?”

“Andrew…”

“Nice name…you guys would be cute together!”

“Jessi knock it off you don’t even know him.”

“But you do and you like him!”

“Fine I like him but it’s not like any thing is going to happen between us!” I could tell it was time to end the conversation and bring it up later when it was just us. So we walked around got even more cute stuff. We went home later and that’s were our conversation started again!
