Live or Die (part 7)

“Jacob, what are you do…..” I began but I couldn’t finish because he started talking and it wasn’t like him to be talking so fast. Something was wrong with him or what was happening now. All of the things or people that I saw down at the lake started coming out from behind dark corners and from behind old boxes. They all started to circle around Jacob and me. It freaked me out and Jacob too. I got closer to him and he put his hands around my waist and started holding on to me. Before I knew it I was yelling at them to get away and I even tried to go after them to try to scare them, but Jacob held onto me tight and wouldn’t let me near them. Maybe he knew what they were capable of because I sure didn’t, well not yet. He began to whisper in my ear.

Jacob-”don’t go after them”

Hailey-”why? their just some stupid whatever they are”

Jacob-”you don’t know what they can do to you”

Hailey-”why don’t you tell me then”

Jacob-”because there’s no time right now”

Hailey-”no, now”

Jacob-”maybe later if we make it out of here”

Neither of us realized the figure coming up in front of us. Maybe because we couldn’t see it till the last second. He was invisible. What other powers did Kevin posses? What harm could he inflict upon us?

Kevin-”maybe you will get out of here, maybe you wont. Did you really think that I couldn’t hear you? You stupid little girl. How dare you let him hold you but flinch when I even touch you skin. And you Jacob little lover boy what do you think your doing holding her because she’s afraid, that should be me doing that, not you!

Hailey-”wait right there Kevin. I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just thought it was odd how you pop into my life and think you can come between me and my friends and family. How dare you. And Jacob was holding me because I was afraid yes, but you think that it should be you holding me when I’m afraid even when you were the reason I was afraid in the first place. You’re a jerk and a rotten person or whatever you are.

Kevin-”no you wait right there you stupid little girl. I didn’t scare you, they scared you I didn’t want that. Not for you to be afraid of what your going to become. And you lover boy same with you. You’ll both be happy when you turned into what your soul wants to become. You cant deny your soul of what it wants. It will drive you crazy until you finally crack and trust me you will crack. And you will turn, trust me.

Jacob-”and what will we be turned into exactly?”

Kevin-”simple, well not really, I still haven’t figured out completely what we are, but I’m working on it. But so far I know that we are part vampire but we do not need blood if we do not choose to drink it. And we are also part demon. The first ones of us were born in Hell and the devil sent us up here to kill off earth and any living soul on it or finish it off and turn it into the 2^nd floor to hell. We gave up on that mission though. We realized that we couldn’t do it without God getting involved and taking everyone first.”

Jacob-”so what is your mission now?”

Kevin-”to turn as many as we need into us”

Jacob-”why?”

Kevin-”because if we didn’t we would go extinct”

Hailey-”so if nobody else was to turn you would eventually… die out?”

Kevin-”yes we would and all of the world would be doomed”

Hailey-”why would we be doomed?”

Kevin-”because there would be no death and everyone would live in pain, forever. Now no more of these foolish questions for now we need to get started it’s a long process to turn two humans into the unnamed creatures.”

I didn’t want to be turned and I don’t think Jacob wanted to be turned either, but I didn’t know any way out of it until a familiar name popped back up into the picture.

Kimmie, she came running up and started beating Kevin away from Jacob and I. She had red/orange colored hair with black highlights. She wasn’t one of them I knew it she was good. She had come to save us from being turned, but her efforts of saving us didn’t work out. We soon found that out that nothing could save us now.
