Live or Die

My names Hailey. Like most teens my age I’m into a lot of stuff. For instance sneaking out of the house in

the middle of the night to go and hang out with friends down at the gravel pit. Yeah I know its weird but

hey we have a gravel pit that teens go and hang out at and party. One of my closest friends Alex called and

asked if I wanted to go down to the pits and party with her and some of her friends. I said “sure, but I have

to get ready first”. We agreed to meet up in 2 hours at the local gas station. I hung up and went to my

room.I got to my room and sat down at my computer. I signed into my hotmail, and I had a new message. I

didn’t know who the sender was but I still opened it. The message read

“ Hi my name is Kimmie, I don’t mean to scare u but if that what I have to do I will. DO NOT GO TO

THE GRAVEL PITS TONIGHT IF YOU WANT TO LIVE. I mean it something bad is going to happen.

You will meet someone new who will kill you. He will have pitch black eyes and will wear a silver chain

around his neck. Avoid him if your not planning on listening to me. DO NOT TALK TO HIM! This is your

only warning from me. Take it or leave it.

I quickly shut my computer screen. Who was this creep? What did she mean by if I want to live? I don’t

even know a Kimmie so how can she be my friend? And how did she know I was even going to the gravel

pits tonight, the only person who knew was Alex. I went to the kitchen and got the phone, I called Alex.

“ring, ring”

“Hello?”

“ Is Alex there?”

“Yeah hang on a sec”

“Hello, who is this?”

“It’s Hailey, I was wondering if u want to just skip the party and go to the movie instead”

“I would but I really am looking forward to this party and plus my crush is going to be there. Why don’t you want to go all of a sudden?”

“ oh, well I just don’t feel like going to the pits tonight but you can still go I’m just going to hang out here maybe watch a movie but have fun”

“ok well talk to you tomorrow, bye”

“Bye”

We hung up. I went back into my room , closed the door, then sat down on my bed. I looked over to wear

I had left my computer, thinking about the email and there on top of my computer sat a white envelope

with my name scribbled on it. I went over picked it up and opened it . Inside was a letter it read

“Hello, nice to meet you my names Kevin, ignore that silly little girl telling you to avoid me. She just has

some issues with me cause of some things that happened but she was asking for it but anyways I’m not a

bad person well if u would call me a person, I’m more of a…well…umm… I don’t really know what I am,

but I wont hurt you I swear. I’ve just kind of been fallowing you around a bit and I’ve grown attached to

you. I’d like to meet you in person….uh.. Face to face if you wouldn’t mind. I’ll see ya around
