How could he do this? How could he just go and kiss that slut? Why does she have to steal all of my boyfriends?
I ran from where I saw them and into the bathroom. I didn’t want to be bothered. But I knew I would have to come out eventually, so I walked out of the stall, fixed my makeup, and ran to go get my bag.
On the way there, I ran into Ethan.
“Hey watc…oh sorry, Grace. I didn’t realize it was you. Oh, hey, what’s wrong? I’m sorry, did I hurt you?”
“No, don’t worry about it Ethan. It’s nothing.”
“Yeah right it’s nothing. Look, why don’t we get out of here and you can tell me what’s wrong, k?”
“Oh I don’t know….”
“Please?”
“Ok. Sure. Where will we go though?”
“Umm…. How about to the coffee shop?”
So I went to the coffee shop with Ethan. I told him the whole story, and he actually seemed to…care? Before we left, he grabbed my arm.
“Listen… umm… Grace? I know you probably don’t want to… but see…”
“Yea?”
“Well there’s this party that one of my teammates is throwing… and I was wondering if you would go with me?”
I didn’t know what to say.
“Yes.”
