GRACES POV
It’s official. Me and Gabe are going out. I can’t say that I’m not excited because I am. It happened when we went back to the park the day after we first kissed.
“So...” I started to say as I sat down on a swing.
“So… you must have something on your mind,” Gabe replied.
“Actually, I do. It’s about what happened… you know… last night?”
“Oh, ya… about that…listen, I’m reall”
I cut him off with a kiss. This one just as magical as the last.
I pulled away. “Do you reall want to finish that sentence?”
The biggest smile you could see on a guys face appeared. He kissed me back.
“Grace Wylke, will you be my girlfriend?”
I smiled and said yes. We kissed for a couple more minutes before he had to leave.
So now I’m getting ready for my date. Not the typical movies or a dinner, but we plan to have a picnic in a field by our houses.
The doorbell rang just as I finished getting ready. I ran down the stairs to answer it. I opened the door to see… not Gabe, but Ethan.
“What are you doing here?” I asked with shock.
“Listen, Grace, I know you won’t want to believe me, but I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have cheated on you, especially with your best friend. I feel horrible, and I broke up with her because I feel so bad about hurting you. I’m not asking for us to go back to the way they were, I just want your forgiveness.”
“Ethan… I don’t know. I guess…”
“Thank you so much Grace! That’s all I wanted to hear!”
“Your welcome, but I kinda have to go now.”
“Oh, well, I’ll just see you at school.”
“Bye.”
“See ya.” And he walked away with a smile. Because what Grace didn’t know was what he was planning.
