GRACES POV

I got out of the now cold water, and wrapped a towel around my body. I took another towel and wrapped it around my hair. I walked out of the bathroom, and into my room. I had just put on my bra and underwear, when the doorbell rang.

"Just a minute!" I called down the stairs, hoping the person would hear me. I wrapped the towel back around my body, knowing that I shouldn't keep the person waiting.

I ran down the stairs as the doorbell rand again.

"Just a minute!" I called again.

I looked through the window, and opened the door without looking who it was. The person I least expected was now looking at me in my bra, underwear, and wet towel. It was Gabe.

"Oh, umm… is this a bad time?" He said as he turned fifty different shade of red.

Of course it's a bad time! I said to myself. "No, um… not at all."

"Oh, ok. Well… I just came to get my backpack."

"Of course," I said. "It's in the kitchen. If you wait a minute for me to change, I can get it for you."

"Sure, that sounds, umm… great."

I started to notice that he had a slight stutter when he was nervous. It was kind of cute. Wait, no. I couldn't think it was cute. Could I?

Of course not. Gabe's just my friend. I walked upstairs to my room.

I pondered these thoughts as I changed in to sweats and a long sleeved shirt. I put my wet hair up into a ponytail.

I went downstairs and headed into my kitchen. I saw Gabe sitting at the counter. His backpack weighed much more than mine as I picked it up. He gratefully took it from my hands as I walked over to him. We stared into each other's eyes. I felt my face get hot. Our two faces started getting closer to one another's. I closed my eyes, and then it happened. His soft lips pressed against mine. This one, single moment seemed to make the world stop in place. All time was lost as we shared in this sweet embrace. I had kissed many guys, but not one of those kisses was as magical as this one.
