GRACES POV
As Gabe walked away, I wondered what it could be that he had to tell me. Why did he move to Virginia? Almost no body moves here. Especially in the middle of the school year.
I watched his face grow worried as he continues his conversation on the phone. After a couple minutes, he hung up the phone. He started to walk over with a blank look on his face.
“Is everything alright?” I asked.
“Of course! But I really need to hurry home now. I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said. And then he started to run. He left me speechless. Now he has started to make me worry about what he had to tell me. What is he hiding?
I sat on the swing for a couple more minutes. Then I decided to go home.
By the time I reached my front door, it was already 4:30. My parents wouldn’t be home until 7, so I had a few hours to do whatever I wanted. I walked into the kitchen so that I could get my backpack and start my homework. As I picked up my bag, I noticed another one lying near it. Great, Gabe left his backpack here.
sorry its so short, i wanted 2 leave the story hanging untill tomorrow =) i have some great ideas for the story, n hav the next chapter started. please rate n comment!
