                                Summer Mystery #13

The next morning Ellie woke up with a headache and she was sore from what happened the night before.She woke up to the sound of knocking at her door,it was Cody.

"Hey,how are you feeling?" Cody asked quietly

"Sore" Ellie said looking down

"Oh,i told you we could quit if you wanted to." Cody said brushing her blond hair away from her face

"Shh,not so loud! you want my brother to know?!" Ellie said in a hushed voice

"Sorry,well you want to go to dinner tonight?" Cody asked politely

"Sure,but what are we gonna do with Evan and Kaylin" Ellie said walking to her bathroom

"Uh,well we'll just see what happens"  Cody said following her to her sink

"Okay then" Ellie said smiling at Cody

                                           Downstairs

"Kaylin sweetie,how are you doing?" Ellie asked 

"Doing a hell of alot better then last night,look my arms are halfway healed" Kaylin said showing her arms proudly

"Yeah shes proud of that.." Evan said softly

Kaylin smacked Evan in the arm playfully and everyone laughed.

"So you guys wanna go to the beach and swim?" Evan asked 

They all agreed and got there swimming stuff on.When they were ready Kaylin,Evan,Ellie and Cody all walked out to the beach and Evan ran to the water and suddenly they all heard a scream..

"Kaylin whats wrong?" Cody asked

"I just stepped in blood,what the hell do you think is wrong!!!" Kaylin Screamed

Ellie and Cody shot a quick glance at each other and you could see the worry on Ellie's face. Was it from her? Was it from last night? She was worried. Evan saw Ellie looking down at the sand with a worried look on her face.

"Cody,can I talk to you? NOW?!" Evan said looking like he was about to kill someone.

"Uh,sure.." Cody said

And they both walked away from Ellie and Kaylin,Leaving Kaylin to wash Ellie's blood off her foot,and leaving Ellie worried.
