About 1 hour into the movie, everyone was asleep except for Cody & Ellie. Every so often Cody & Ellie would glance at each other,until Ellie finally got enough courage to ask Cody,

"why did you kiss me earlier on the beach?"

to Ellie's surprise he answered, "i'll tell you,but not here knowing that they could wake up any minute."

so cody got up & slowly helped ellie remove Kaylin's ankle off her. And before Ellie knew it, her & cody were out the door leading to the beach. As they got out there, they slowly started to talk. Ellie asked,

"so why did you kiss my earlier?"

Cody answered, "because i thought you wanted me too"

to Cody's Shock ellie answered, "well i kinda did,but not where my brother & best friend could see, with you being..."

he cut her off by saying, "being your brothers best friend & all,yeah i know. And I have just as big of crush on you as Evan does on Kaylin. So it wouldn't be weird."

Ellie shocked said, "whoa Evan has a crush on kaylin?"

Cody replied, "oops. i forgot that i wasn't supposed to tell you that"

Ellie asked, "well how big of a crush does he have on her?"

Cody saying, "i'm sorry, i've said too much."

Ellie said, "okay how about we play a little game. If i can tackle you, you tell me. & if i can't tackle you, you can kiss me."

Cody quickly agreed by saying, "okay".

As Cody got up & ellie walked one way & cody walked the other. As soon as ellie & cody got to they're spots. Cody said, "okay".

& ellie ran forward to him, tackling him.

ellie on top of cody said, "okay now start.."

and before she could get the next word out, cody was kissing her.Ellie had left it at that & started to kiss him. right when they started to make-out. The door quickly opened startling them both & there walked out Evan saying, "whats going on?"

they both quickly answered, "nothing just had to get some & air & stretch out our legs."

Evan, knowing how gullible he is, believed us & said, "Okay; well ellie,kaylin needs you to help her up stairs cause shes tired."

Ellie said, "okay" and got up & started to help kaylin up the stairs.

Evan not even wanting to ask what happened between them two, started walking back in & turned & said, "okay well i'm going to bed, so you wanna sleep in the guest bedroom down here, or my bedroom?"

Cody responded, "I think i'll sleep in the guest bedroom tonight."

and they both walked into the house & locked the doors & turned the light out. Cody went to the guest bedroom right off the kitchen & evan made his way up the stairs.

Cody made his way through the door of the guest bedroom & he started to get undressed so he could change into his night clothes when he noticed someone at the door.

It was Ellie, She simply said, "so did Evan ask 21 questions  about why we were out there?"

Cody had just got done changing when she said that & responded, "not once, i suggested that i sleep in here tonight to fight any sudden urges to go to your room."

"& as that i can see that mine didn't work out." as ellie said walking over to Cody who was now sitting on the bed. As she sat beside him he slowly said, "I guess not." and he leaned in and started kissing her.
