He said…. “ Is your brother home yet?”Emma was shocked. She thought Corey was there to see her. She couldn’t talk. She felt like crying.

She finally stammered, “y… y…yea he is. Just knock on the front door and hell answer.”

“K. Thanks.”

As Corey walked away, Emma wasn’t sure if she should cry or not. I mean it wasn’t the end of the world. She lied down on her bed and covered her face with her pillow in case she did start crying. After about ten minutes she got up and shut her window. She sat on her bed and she started thinking. 

‘I really do like that girl,’ Corey thought to himself while witing for someone to answer the door. ‘ But her brother, Cris, is my best friend. How am I supposed to like his sister. I mean its just not done.  

“COREY!” yelled Cris

“Oh sorry about that. I was thinking.”

“Oh so that’s what that annoying noise was?”

“Haha so funny.”

"Well if it wasn’t funny, then why did you laugh?” 

“Awwwwwwwwww, give it a rest you two. I can hear you from upstairs.” Yelled Emma while walking down the stairs. 

Corey started to blush. His cheeks getting redder and redder. Emma looked at him, and saw his cheeks.

“Are you getting a little hot Corey.” Asked Emma with a little giggle.  “Ummmmmmm….R….yea a lil bit.” announced Corey, blushing even more.  Corey looked at Emma and Emma looked at Corey. There eyes met. ‘Your eyes are beautiful. They’re like a pool of lovely blue water’ Corey thought to himself. ‘Your eyes are like a lovely brown tinted window.’ Emma thought to herself. 

Cris stood between them and said, “ok this is beginning to freak me out. Emma go back up to your room, and Corey don’t look at her.” 

“No I don’t have to listen to you, your not my father or my mother at that. Your over protective and I hate it. Go get a fu*@ng life. We are friends and that’s it. Ok. Now mind your own business.” Yelled Emma. 

“Yeah.” is all Corey could say. He was really embarrassed. “I’m going to leave you two to sort this out yourself. I’m going home. Bye”
