Chapter 2

The next day after school the whole student body was hyped up. This was the first breath of summers beginning and change was in the air. Fay ran over to Sally colliding into her and knocking both of them down. They tumbled across the grass getting dirt in their hair. “Fay!” Sally screamed in shock getting up slowly.

“Sorry, sorry, really I am.” I said smirking a little.

“It's not funny, I just washed my hair!” She protested.

“Oh relax Sal, your a brunet, dirt is brown, your fine!”

“Oh that makes it better?”

“Yes.”

“Well what about you blondy! All the dirt shows in your hair.”

“And I don't care,” I stated smugly.

“Yeah is that so?” Sally's expression became devious.

“It is,” I said becoming suspicious.

“Turn around then and remember you have dirt in you hair, and grass smudged everywhere.” Sally laughed. I turned and gasped seeing my crush David.

“DAVID!”

“Fay.”

“Um, I mean hi” I started brushing off the dirt and vowing to take revenge on Sally. David moved closer cautiously and asked if I needed help with that. I didn't understand what he meant so he proceeded patting me lightly and removing dirt from my hair. He's touching me!

Then he moved over to Sally and asked the same. She declined and in a blink of an eye he pecked her right on the lips!
