Hell's Cabin. (Part Three)

Cody explained to Jessy and Carly what had happend last night.  How he found the rat's eye, and the shadowy figure that stood outside.
"Should we call the police?"
Cody gave Carly a 'what the fuck' look.
"Are you nuts?!  This area is famous for it's pranks!"
"I know but something is not right about this."
"Like what?"
"The blood on the wood pile."
Judy woke up, said her 'morning' greeting and grabed some coffee.
"I was telling them about last night."
"I know."
"You weren't asleep?"
"No."

The four spent thier morning not talking about what had been going on.  While daylight was still young Jessy decided to go for a walk.
"Be carefull."
"I will."
He gave Carly a kiss and left.
"So...now what?"
"Popcorn and a movie?"
Judy looked at the clock.
"It's ten in the fucking morning!"
They laughed...but it was cut short, Jessy was screaming.

"Jessy!"
Carly ran outside.  Her screams followed.  Judy and Cody rushed outside, now all four were screaming.
Jessy's SUV was in a different spot and it was covered with blood.
"W-w-wait here, I'm getting help!"
"Jessy wait!"
The door opened and a bloody torso fell out of the drivers side.   Jessy fainted.
"I'm calling the police!"

"Now, please tell us again.  What happend?"
The police had arrived an hour ago, the scene was still fresh.  Jessy was still out, Carly was answering questions for the officer asking about what was going on.  Judy looked out the window.  She watched as two C.S.I.'s lowered the torso into a body bag.
"Judy?"
"Why?  Why us?"
Cody sat with her and watched the body bag being zipped up.
"Don't look."
Judy burried her head into Cody's arm and broke down.

The police knew that all four were inocent, not one pice of eveidence connected them.  They had ordered that a patrol car be parked outside.
"Thank you for your time, if you hear or see anything.  Switch the lamp on and off three times, Officer Bradly will know that's the signal."
"Thank you, officer."
The police, C.S.I.'s and Jessy's SUV left.
"So, protection?"
"I guess."
Jessy was smoking heavily.
"It just fell out, man."
"Jessy."
"Like a god-damned horror film!  It was just splat!"
"Jessy!"
"I knew it was not safe here!"
Judy smacked him across the face.
"Get yourself together!  Don't think about it!"
They were sillent for a moment.
"You're...you're right, I'm sorry."
The night came quicker then they had prayed for.
"Hot tub anyone?"

Even though it was inclosed on deck, none of them felt safe, but they did not talk about it.  Jessy and Carly decided to get out early.
"Where you guy's going?"
"Bed."
Carly giggled and Judy rolled her eyes.
"Again, shit!"
They said good night and went inside.
"Judy."
"Hmm?"
"Just you and me."
They started to kiss pasionatly and expressed thier love within the sound of the night.

It had been great, Judy snuggled up against Cody's chest.
"Wow."
"Yeah."
Both conitinued to kiss. 
"Time to go in."
Both got out and wrapped towels around thier nude bodies.
"Look."
"What is it, Ju-"
He didn't finish.  There was a pair of boots peering under the deck fence.
"Cody."
Judy whispered in her lowest voice.
"Remember the lamp?  Come on."
Before Cody could answer the boots moved and blood fell on the deck.   The boots left.
"Oh my God."

"Remember three times"
Cody flicked it.
"One, two, three."
Five minutes went by.  Ten minutes.  Still no Officer.
"I'm going out, you're coming with me."
Both were now dressed and Cody grabbed a flashlight.

The night was as dark as the Devil's heart, the Patrol car was still there.  Cody knocked on the window.
"Sir?"
He tried the door and opend it.  Officer Bradly's head rolled out onto the ground.  Judy screamed.
"Jesus fuck!"
"Cody!"
The figure was at the end of the graveld drive way holding what looked like an axe.  It spoke in a deep animal like voice...it struck terror into Judy's heart.
"You four should not be here!"
The figure snarled.
"Who the fuck are you?!"
There was no response, the figure was now walking up the path tword them.
