The next morning I threw up in my toilet before school, I had morning sickness ? Huh . I wonder if i ate anything funny the day before . . .nope. Just pizza and salad. 

I just figured it was a bug of some sort and flushed the toilet. Normally I  would've stayed home when I throw up, but today we had Decorating Commitee Meeting during half of the school day for the dance tonight.

I walked to school and finally didn't get there when no one was there. It was actually pretty crowded.

I spotted Maria and she said, "I have something to tell you." while gripping my arms so hard I thought she would kill me!

"I am . . . "

Just then Emily walked up to us and began to talk about how awesome the dance was gonna be.

The bell rang and Maria ran inside, which is shocking because most people, especially Maria, wait until the SECOND bell rang. I stopped emily and said, "cant talk"

I ran toward Maria who was racing down the empty hall. She ran into the bathroom and I followed her, I found her leaning against a stall and crying.

I just stood there and rubbed her back, then I heard the bell ring and Maria said "Go to class, you're going to be late." I shook my head and replied,

"Not until you tell me what is going on."

She let out a small sob a final time then inhaled, she said, "Im pregnant Mariam." in a wavery breathe and she slid down to the floor with her back against the stall.
