I breathe in and gulp,hmm, should I ask him i thought No, its really none of my business...although, i AM curious.. I finally decided just to ask him, "Do you, like, like her?" I asked Matt with uncertainty, To which his reply was,
"Nah, she's not really my type." "I see." I replied.

"So what IS your type?" I asked.

"I like girly girls, but not fake ones, they have to be down to earth, and real."

"Hmm, " I said. "Well I have to go, catcha later."

"Later Skater!" He replied grinning at his own joke.

I was happy and pissed at  the same time,

I was down to earth and REAL.

But I ALSO wasn't a "girly girl.."

Not NOW I was.

That, of course. Could be easily changed.

The next day me and my bestie, a true girly girl, named Mariah went to the mall. And on the way there I explained my situation. I asked if she could help.

She said, "You know how I am about people changing themselves for one person, they should love you  for who you are.... all this for the new guy ? I didnt even know you LIKED guys yet. He must be hott. Maybe I want him..."

I said, "No, he's not your type, and my mum hates me being a skater, and my dad always thinks I'm up to something. This could help. . ."

"I dont know..." She said with a little demanding in her voice.

"Pleeeaseee pretty please ? With non=preservatives cherries and fat-free ice cream on top ?" I made my beset puppy face and she said,

"Fine, but just because that face is cute and that food sounds yummy!"

I grinned and we walked into Claire's, to buy accessories.
