Probably not even woth it...

Drama Created on 1-24-09 Views(62) Story Rating G

"Well, I kinda like someone." I told my friend, Amy, over the music of the crowded skate way.

"And who might that be?" She asked, she looked like she probably already knew the answer.

"Guess." I prodded her.

"Levi." Spot on. Of course, it was pretty obvious. I had gone out with him twice before and had never gotten close to getting over him. Even while he was dating the absolute devil in teenage girl form. Katie. They had dated for ahilw but eventually, Levi broke up with her.

"Maaaaaaybe." I teased. She laughed and we continued skating around the wooden floor with lights from the disco ball following us as we rotated in long ovals.

Not 20 minutes later, Amy, her sister (Tori), and I were headed off to the bathroom.

"You know what we should do?" Amy asked me through the stall door.

"What?" I questioned while I traced my finger through the cracks in the bricks of the wall while I waited for my two friends to be finished.

"We should call the twins." We used the term "the twins" whenever referring to Levi and his brother, Weston. Why you ask? You guessed it, they are identical twins.

"I have no objections to that..." I answered getting a sudden twinge of excitment. "But you have to talk!" I quickly added, I am such shy person...

"Fine." She said with fake disapointment in her voice.

Still in the bathroom (had the best reception and the least amount of noise in the skateway), we dialed the twins number and Weston answered.

I could hear Amy saying hello and chatting to Weston about how they should have come with us tonight. Then, Amy asked for Levi.

"Levi?" When talking to the twins, you always had to ask who it was over the phone, their voices sounded too much alike...

Amy paused for a moment while Levi (or Weston) obviously answered.

"Hi, hey, I have a question for you..." Amy said to Levi looking at me with a mischevious face.

"Well... Will you go out with Carly?"

I wanted to kill her. Amy just stood there smiling as I practically freaked out in the cramped bathroom.

"Okay." I forgot that there would be an answer to that question.

"What did he say?" I mouthed. She didn't answer me. She was intently listening to the conversation on the other side of the phone.

"He wants to talk to you..." Amy held out the phone for me to take.

"Heck no!!" I mouthed again, knowing he would probably hear me if I spoke.

"Just take it Carly..." Again Amy held out the phone to me, this time placing it next to my ear.

"No!" I whispered and locked myself in the wheelchair stall.

At this point Amy had picked up the phone and started to explain the him that I was being my shy old self. Eventually, I ended up talking to him, but the reat of the night flew by....
