After that meeting with Kyle she sat back and smirked. What a loser he had fallen for her speech. She had explained that Brock had the baby and she wanted Scott back. But it had been hard to come up with the lie overnight. It had worked though and she was happy. She headed home.
"Brock!! Brock I'm home." Kaylee yelled through the house. She turned because she sensed someone behind her. As she turned Brock grabbed her arm and shoved her against the wall, "Why were you meeting with him?" He looked hurt not angry.
"Ouch. Let go and just let me explain." Kaylee said frowning. "There is alot behind this and if I tell you the whole story you have to promise not to go after him."
"Why? Are you still in love with him?" Brock asked.
"NO way! Are you out of your fucking mind? Last night him and a bunch of guys tried to get me out in the parking lot.Kyle was one of them. I thought of everything I could do to get rid of him. That's when I thought of meeting with him today. It saved my ass." Kaylee explained.
"What? They tried to hurt you? Is that where the bruise on your arm came from last night? You lied. You said you fell. GOd! Kaylee don't you feel you can trust me? I woulda--"
"Exactly! And I wanted you to stay out of it. I can handle myself." Kaylee looked up at him reassuring him.
"Like you did when I attacked you? You handled yourself real good then didn't you? Look I don't want to fight I am just worried about you." Brock smiled at her and leaned to kiss her.
Kaylee smiled and returned the favor. She was just glad he pursued the bedroom and not what she had said to Kyle. She didn't want him feeling like it was true. because she was ready to say she was falling in love with Brock. Nothing would come between them. Nothing.
