I remember like it was yesterday me and my boyfriend was in his car driving back from the beach, it was dark we been there since 9:00 in the morning. We were listening to some country music and I looked out my window thinking how happy I was to be with him all of a sudden he turned down the music and stopped the car. At this time I was thinking how stupid it is to stop the car in the highway. He turned to me with sad eyes and he grabbed my hand and he said “I think you should see other people” I looked at him with tears in my eyes I couldn’t understand why he would say this Since I was a mute I had to use sign language good thing he knew it since his brother was deaf. “Why you say that Jake? I thought you were happy to be with me, did I not make you happy? Did I do something wrong?” I signed “No, you didn’t do anything wrong. I am happy that I was with you and I’m happy that I was with such a wonderful girl that knows me better than anyone else I know” “Then why brake up?” I asked “You remember I when I went to the hospital?” “Yes” I said “Well when my mom took you home my dad came up to me a told me that I was going to die because I had cancer in my brain that will cause a tumor and eventually explode and I will die” I broke down and began crying before I knew it I went to look at him and a car was coming straight at us from my boyfriends’ side. I pointed for him too look by the time he did we were hit. I woke up in the hospital 3 weeks later I was in a coma I fond out my boyfriend had died in the wreck his parents were there and they told me that he was happy to have me and that I should move that was what Jake would want me to do. It has been 5 years since then I was only 16 I’m now 21 years old and married I have 2 kids Jaclyn and Jake Osmond
