If you wanna go and take a ride with me…

My boyfriend Monty but better known as Money came into the room and noticed Cam’s dead body on the ground and looked at both me and Juelz.

“Damn who killed him?” He asked removing the mask from his face.

“I did,” I said proudly smirking. I took another look at Cam. “One more brother murdered from the streets.” I shook my head, “How pitiful.” I snickered at my own sarcasm and gave Juelz my gun to hold.

“That’s wussup boo.” He said gently grabbing my waist and kissing my cheek. “Let’s bounce.” We all grabbed the boxes of coke and money and headed out to Juelz’s Benz. We put the boxes in the trunk cautiously looking around for any unwanted eyes. Luckily the streets were silent. Juelz took the driver’s side as Money got into the passenger. I hopped into the back as Juelz started the car and took off.

I leaned forward so that I could kiss Money but he stopped me. “You’ve been kissing that dude back there and I know that nigga had a few too many bitches.”

“You know I come prepared.” I pulled out a small bottle of Listerine and took a swig of it and gargled. Money howled in laughter.

“That’s my bitch! She stay prepared.” He said through his laughing. After spitting the Listerine out of the window without a care I leaned forward again and kissed Money. I took a short glimpse of Juelz who looked at us with a little gleam in his eye. Could’ve sworn there was a hint of jealousy. But Juelz sexy ass had every other girl on the block, so he couldn’t have been jealous.

Wanna Be Starting Somethin’

After the whole fiasco I was now in bed counting stacks. “Damn,” I said to myself. “7 G’s in one night!” I kissed the money and put it one of my Nike boxes under my bed.

About to get a safe in a minute. I thought to myself.

Tupac’s ‘Until The End of Time’ played on my cell phone and I looked at the name. Juelz.

“Hm,” I said before answering, “Hello?”

“Hey girl. What you doing?” He asked casually yet with a little lust in his voice.  

“What you calling me for? It’s almost 12 ‘o’ clock fool.” I said playfully.

“I just wanted to check on you and talk to you.”

“About?” I said beginning to become extra curious. Checking on me with a short conversation was normal, but talk?

“About you in this hustling shit. You know you don’t have to do this shit right?”

“Yeah but it’s in my blood. Plus me and Money ride or die. We get money together.” I said trying to convince him not to try to convince me to get out of the game.

“I respect that you following your father’s steps and holding it down for your man, but if he was truly your man he’d be making money for you instead of with you.”

I nodded. He had a point but then again, “Where is this coming from?” I asked. “Ain’t y’all best friends? Respect his decisions on letting me stay in this. Besides I like getting money.”

“This ain’t about him it’s about you.”

“Why you worried about me?”

Silence. I then realized maybe  Juelz had a thing for me. It was too late to even get into that discussion. “Look dude,” I began deciding to end the conversation, “I’m tired as hell, we’ll talk later. Now take yo 5 dollar ass to sleep.” I joked.

He laughed. “Shut up. I’ll holla at you later. Peace.”

Click.

I looked at the phone as it clarified the call had ended. I guess he was happier than me that the conversation ended.
