I was in the bathroom and was waiting for my results.Finally I closed me eyes and put the stick in front of my face.I opened my eyes and there it was.Blue!I put my hand to my mouth and tears started to flow.I was happy and sad!
School was over yes but what about next year.I would be a senior.I didnt care though.As long as I got Vonte back.I never did anything with Vonte,only Calvin as you should know.I knew he was the father.I could see the look on Vonte's face.But I wasn't sure about Calvin.I put my hand on top of my head.
"Oh shit!How's Calvin gonna take this?!?"I thought.I went to my room and threw the pregnancy test away."Oh shit!!How is Momma gonna take this?!?!?Oh I am dead meat!"I decided to tell her in like two months or so.
But Vonte,I'd confront him today.He had went up to Milwaukee to check on his pregnant girlfriend and came back last week.Now I knew he would be so mad.And I knew he'd be hurt just like I was.I got joy outa that thought.
I walked outside.I went down the street.I made sure to be careful.I loved the baby inside me already and treated it as if it was outside of me already.I was not going to get an abbortion.After hearing what they do to the poor things in health class there was no way in hell!
I snapped out of my thoughts by surprisingly seeing Vonte coming at me.I looked confused.I was confused.
Vonte:We gotta talk.And hurry.
He sounded serious.Without waiting for me to answer he grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the alley he used to always protect me at.Thinking about that almost made me cry but I took a deep breath and held it in.
Monique:What do you want now?
Vonte:I went to Milwaukee-
Monique:I know.
Vonte:And well...
He paced back and forth.I looked at him confused.I stopped him.
Monique:What do you got to say Vonte?!?
He grabbed both of my arms.
Vonte:Keana is not preganant!
My jaws dropped.
Monique:I-I...
I was stuck in words.How was I gonna tell him now.
