We were finally at Tino's.The drive was silent except for the radio.It was alot of tension.Before,I looked in the rear-view mirror and looked at Curtis who was glaring at Javail.Could there be jealousy here?I had shrugged that off and kept on to Tino's.Now we were here.
Brooklyn:Aight let's go!
We got out and went inside.Javail held onto me by the waist.Curtis looked at us kinda nervous like and did the same to Adrianna.I lifted my eyebrow in amusement.We went to the front.And the lady came to the counter.
Lady:Can I help y'all?
Brooklyn:I'll have a cheeseburger with bacon.
Adrianna laughed under her breath.I looked at her.
Brooklyn:I fail to see what's funny.
Adrianna:Nothin.Just a thought came up.
I rolled my eyes and decided to brush it off.
Brooklyn:Anyway,oh and I'll have a soda please.
Lady:And y'all?
Javail:I'll have what she have.Except make dat a hamburger.
Curtis:I'll have some hotwings.
Adrianna:Do y'all have a salad?
We all,including Curtis,looked at her as if she was out of her mind.Even the employee raised her eyebrows.
Lady:The closest thing we got to that is coslaw.(Author's note:I dont know how you spell it so if you dont know what I'm talkin bout,sorry)
Adrianna:Oh.Well can I have that?
Lady:That would be $12.57.
I paid and she gave me my change.We went to find a table.
Javail:So Brooklyn.Where did you go again?
Brooklyn:Atlanta.
Javail:How was dat?
Brooklyn:It was cool but I missed Brooklyn.
Javail:We missed you too.
I laughed.Adrianna coughed.I knew she was tryin to get somebody's attention.
Adrianna:Well I think Atlanta's cool.
Brooklyn:I know.
Adrianna:Well you act as if Brooklyn's better.
Curtis tapped Adrianna on the shoulder.She turned her head towards him.
Curtis:Enough about that,when did you eat salads.Last time I took you out to a restaraunt you ordered the whole left side of the menu.
I kept myself from laughing.So did Javail.Adrianna looked offened.
Adrianna:Well I decided to go on a diet.
Brooklyn:Sounds like somebody made dat up.
She looked at me.
Adrianna:Excuse me?
Brooklyn:You frontin fo no reason you just tryin to look like you aint fat dats all.And why in da hell did you try to laugh in line when I ordered me stuff?Oh I was just askin?
Curtis:Brooklyn!
Javail:Yall aight?
Brooklyn:Im cool.
Adrianna:Im not.you can quit tryin to catch a attitude.
Brooklyn:Oh my gosh!Look who talkin!
Javail:Calm down Brooklyn.
Adrianna:Naw she aint gotta calm down.She been tryin to make me mad ever since she came up here and Im tired of it!
She stood up.
Adrianna:And I want her to swing.
I stood up.
Brooklyn:Bitch boss up then!
