Monday 

I woke up off mt phone ringing.I grabbed my phone and turned it off.I had a plan for today.I just hoped it work.

I got in the shower and got dressed.I sprayed some perfume on me and put on practically the whole thing of deorderant on.I combed my hair down and sprayed some stuff on it so it can stay down.I put on my earrings that was a hoop that had "shawty" in the middle.I had on some Apple Bottom jeans and a Apple Botton tanktop with a red Apple Bottom sweater over it.I put on some lipgloss and some mascara and some brown eyeshadow.

I went in my room and looked at the door-mirror.I smiled at myself.I grabbed my back back and went downstairs.Ma was down there and so was Keith.

"Oh here we go with the double team"I thought rollin my eyes as I walked down the stairs.When they both seen me they froze and looked at each other.

Monique:Is something wrong?

Keith:Yeah yo face is ugly.

Monique:Shut up.

Mama walked over to me and put her hands on my shoulders.She looked at me as if she was lookin in a mirror.

Ma:Nothing's wrong,but why you'd do all this?

Monique:Well I thought you know I need to have a different look.I always go to school lookin the same and I'm tired of that.

Ma:Yeah but you look like you're goin on a date.

Monique:Just tryin to look presentable,Mama.

She put her hands up.

Ma:Ok.Just askin.

I smiled.

Monique:Thanks for not dippin,Mama.

I said sarcastically.She smirked and walked over to get some coffee she was making.

Before we left I looked in the mirror again and sighed.Then we headed off for school.Keith went the other way again and I kept going straight.I met up with Tiffany who's mouth dropped when she saw me.

Tiffany:Girl what you bout to do,shake yo ass in a 50 Cent video.

I pushed her playfully and laughed.

Monique:You a trip.

Tiffany:Yeah I know.I was just playin you look good but why you do all dis?Vonte?

She nudged me and giggled.But she seen the look on my face which was sad.

Tiffany:Oh my goodness!What happened?Please dont say y'all broke.

I looked down and nodded.Her jaw almost fell off her face on that one.

Tiffany:Why?!?

Monique:Um..

I tried my best to keep my voice from cracking.

Monique:He gotta move back to Milwaukee because of another girl.She pregnant with his baby.

She stopped me and hugged me.

Tiffany:Im so sorry.That fucked up.

I gently pushed her off.

Monique:It's ok.I'm moving on.

Tiffany:I still feel bad.

Monique (whispers):Yeah me too.

We walked to school in silence.But now that I was here I had to put my plan to work.I sighed and went to my locker.I hurried up and then went to first hour and sat I my seat.Calvin came in and sat down.

Calvin:I'm sorry for what I did.I wasn't thinkin.

Monique:It's ok.

I looked at the door and seen Vonte go to the back of the room.He was starin at me all the way there.I smiled at Calvin.

Monique:I actually liked it.

He had a shocked exspression.

Calvin:Really?

Monique:Yeah.

I put my hand on his knee bendin down a little so he could see in my shirt.I know dat was sluttish but I had him in my hands.And like I knew he would he looked down my shirt.

Monique:And I would love you to take me out.

I glanced at Vonte who shifted in his seat.I knew he was hearing or at least wondering what we was talking about.

Monique:Please?

Calvin:Yeah.

Monique:Good!How about...tonight at 7:30.

Calvin:Cool.

I smiled.

Monique:Ok.

The bell rung and the teacher started teaching.Phase 1 was complete,phase 2 begins at 7:30.
