Wow, is all I can think when I arrive at my date’s house. A palatial building surrounded by rolling hills and tall sycamore trees. I view a moor behind the mansion as the wind whistles through the branches above my head, like a ghost softly singing a lullaby. I gather my courage and knock on the door. A big man in a black and read three-piece suit opens the door. “May I help you mademoiselle?” I ask if this Is the residence of Bryanntt Williams. I am answered with a curt nod. I follow him into the parlor. “If you’ll wait here, I’ll fetch Monsieur Williams.” I nod in answer as I gaze around the beautiful. A few minutes later I hear the most beautiful yet most arrogant voice I have ever heard. “What did I tell you about addressing me as ‘Monsieur’, Jeffrey? That is too formal a title to address someone of my age.” Yes, I know Bryanntt, but when it comes to guests, it’s expected” came the plaintive reply. “No, it is – why hello there Natalya, it is nice to finally have met you.” He greets me as he bows low over my hand. His face, oh, I shall never forget that angelic face. Feminine yet all too masculine, jet black hair hanging just above, too old, dark brown eyes framed with lush black lashes. Full, sensual lips, and aristocratic nosed placed just right above them, and a strong, chiseled chin. Oh, my stomach somersaulted as his face became my new obsession. I just wanted a quick touch, a slight graze of my finger tips over those sensual lips, but I dared not be so bold. I bowed my head and curtsied, “Good evening Monsieur Williams.” When I rose and met his gaze, it was as if fireworks exploded around us, I could have sworn I felt the ground roll beneath me. I’m not entirely certain if he felt it too, but I saw his expression change from one of sheer smugness to a look on shock and confusion. I watched as the distant facade he wore slid into place once again. He turned and looked at Jeffrey. “I’ll bring the car around” he says as he takes his leave of us. An awkward silence ensues his departure as we stare at each other. “So….” He says. I smile, “So…” We both burst into laughter as we here the car come around the house.
