As I was pulling into the driveway of my granddad’s house, I seen Jessica on the front porch. When she seen me, she got up, smiled, and waved. So I got out of the car and walked up the steps to her. “Hey what’s up?” “I have a surprise for you.” Jessica said. “Oh really. I been having surprises all day.” I said sarcastically but really telling the truth. “Well whatever. Come in.” Jessica said opening the door and going in. So I followed her. When I walked into the house, I seen my favorite cousin in the world!!!! “Kenny!” You should have heard me! I was screaming all loud and stuff! Kenny have been in prison for a crime that he didn’t even do. His friend, shot someone that died. And they got Kenny for it. He’s 20 years old and 5’8. “How are you here?! When did you come home?!” I said excitedly, but I really didn’t care about them things that I asked. I was just glad that he’s here! “I came home this morning. But happy birthday. What’s been going on?” Kenny said. “Oh nothing.. .” I said looking around like I’m hiding something. “Come on Lala. You can tell me. I’m not gonna get mad.” He said smiling an innocent smile. “Okay. After you went away, I met a boy,.. .. Over the internet. And now CC surprised me with him at the mall.. . Oh and Cameron too.” I said talking really fast. “Hold on. What?! Internet?! Boy?! Mall?! How old is he and am I going to have to beat his ass?!” Kenny said with his eyes red. “Kenny! You said you wouldn’t get mad!!!” Okay. That was my fault. I shouldn’t have to him nothing! “How old is he?!” He said again. “He’s 19.” “Man! My little cousin on the net meeting older boys! What else are you doing?! Striping on the web cam?!” Kenny said jumping to conclusions. “Hold up now! You can’t be saying shit that’s not true! You got that twisted! You know me! You know I would never do that shit! In my life! How could you say something so stupid like that?!” I was really mad! “You right. I’m sorry. But you my baby cousin. And I can’t have you running off with no boy.. .. ..like Jessica did.” “Ay! I’m not like Jessica! So please don’t say that I’m like her cause I’m not!” “Okay! Just calm down. But anyway. Can I meet your little boyfriend?” Kenny said. “Yea. Tomorrow. He’s coming over to pick me up.” I said taking a deep breath. “Okay.” Just then the house phone ring and it was Kenny’s girlfriend. I knew he wanted to talk to her so I just left.
When I got home, my mom wasn’t there as usual cause she always used to work. So I just sat down on the couch and took sometime to relax and chill. This day have been so crazy and surprising, I need sometime to think.
Like an hour later, it was only 3 o’clock. And I was sleepy as hell! So I went to sleep. I must needed that sleep cause when I woke up, it was like 8 o’clock at night. When I got up, I checked my cell phone to see if Shade called me. And yet, he didn’t. I knew he wouldn’t. There was nothing to do. So I just ate something to eat and went back to sleep.
