My 17th birthday (part 2)

   [Ring ring] [ring ring].. I woke up and my phone was ringing. I looked at it and it was Shade. I turned on the light and I answered the phone. “Hello?” I said with a sleepily voice. “who the hell is Cameron?!” Shade said sounding mad. “what? Cameron? He’s a neighbor. Why? What did Ciara tell you?!” I asked. I was worried that CC told Shade something about me and Cameron! “ Don’t worry about what Ciara told me, what’s going on?” “nothing baby! I just said hello and then a bye. that’s all. Please calm down.” I told him, tell him the truth. There was a long pause on the other end. I looked at he clock and it said 10 o’clock. “Are you sure Lala?” he said after a minute of silence. “Yes baby! I’m sure! Just trust me!” whatever he heard from Ciara, it wasn’t true! “ Okay. I just wanted to get everything straight. Call me later okay?” he said. “ okay bye.” and we hung up. What in the world did Ciara tell him?! I have to call her and ask what’s going on right now! “hello? Lala?” CC answered. “CC! why did you tell Shade about Cameron?” “What? Oh.. I was just joking around. Maybe he took it seriously. I’m sorry Lala. But can I call you back? I’m on the other end with Shade.” “Shade? Why?” “Okay bye!” Ciara said then hung up. Okay why are Ciara and Shade talking? I got it! CC wants to get Shade all to herself!!! Why would she want to hurt me?! Maybe I just need to relax. I think I need a hot nice bath. I spent like an hour bathing in the tub, thinking about what might happen between me and Shade, .. And Ciara.

   The next morning I woke up and checked my cell phone to see if Ciara called me back. But she didn’t. I got in the shower and got dressed and hung out on my porch all day. No calls from anybody! I called both Shade and Ciara but they didn’t pick up. Now I know that they’re dumping me for each other! The next couple of days they had called, but I didn’t answer because I didn’t want to be in the middle of their relationship. I’m sad! Sad on my own birthday! Only 1 more day and I will be officially 17 years old.

   “Lala, I know what your thinking but please answer I have a surprise for you!” Ciara said leaving me a message on my answering machine. I called back and asked what did she want. “ Okay. Jus meet me at the mall tomorrow at noon! Please!!!” she said begging me to deaf. “ I will, but you have to tell me everything that’s going on between you and Shade! I’m not playing CC! everything!” “ Trust me, you know it when you hear it. Okay? Bye.” she said then hung up. I cant believe I was gonna meet up with her tomorrow, but she said that she would tell me everything. So we’ll see. .. .. ..
