Well, I was in 6th grade, getting ready to auditioning for the band the next day. I practiced my music on my guitar about 1 hour a night. I was confident that I would have a good audition. When I got to school that Monday, I was really tired and the school smelled liked moldy cheese, which didn't help me much. I always thought that was unusual. I went to go check what period I had to audition, I knew it was at 1st period, I would have to tell my 1st period teacher, Mr.Whited, that I have auditions during that period. I go up stairs I meet all my friends in homeroom, telling them I wouldn't see them I them during BEAR, 1st period is what we call it, but once my homeroom teacher, Mr. Dietz, said my auditions were changed to 4th period, I said thanks and I knew I had to eat lunch fast cause I had auditions right after. I ate the following things for lunch: hot ham & cheese on pretzel bun, applesauce, raspberry yogurt, and a bottle of Swiss Iced Tea. I sat down in my seat, next to some friends and I thought I heard my name being called down to the office. I was a little scared cause I usually never get called to the office, plus it was my first week of Junior High. I got a pass from one of the lunch aides at headed to the office. I walked into the office and I was standing there for about 5 minutes until someone said my auditions were cancelled, but another said I don't have it till 7th period. I was getting kind of nervous and I headed over to Miss. Miller's room, my band auditioner. Once I got to her room she wasn't in her room, so I figured she was still out for lunch. Then, I went up to 5th period were I heard Miss. Miller couldn't make it to school, so she had a substitute in for her! I'm not used to any other teacher! I was terrified!!!! Mr.Whited said for me to go do now, so I'm not late. I got downstairs and this was a teacher I've never seen before. She was tall, with red hair; freckles covered her face, but had a giant zit on her forehead, which seemed to make my eyes wonder to it because it was like the size of my guitar. The woman, who appeared to be in her late 30’s, never gave me her name and she just told me to go ahead and play, but she told me to play a harder piece that nobody else could play. It looked at it so hard, that my brain started to hurt! I tried to play it, but it was too hard. When I looked up at the unknown teacher, she was taking her face off!!!!! I was a little scared, but I realized it was Miss. Miller. I felt embarrassed because I asked her about the giant zit before she took off the face!!!!!!! I just laughed at myself with embarrassment! I just said these exact words "Well, everyone has their moments."
