It is said that a man once commited a crime so heinous that the gods assembled to find a suitable punishment.They Gave the man the ability to see into the future.the man thought he had thought he was so cunning he outsmarted the gods.The man soon after died a tortured soul.

I never quite understood what the meaning of this was until just recently.It is because he saw the future that he was so tourtured. when we are allowed to see into the future it removes the thing that drives us the thing that no matter how bad or good a situation is drives us to keep going.It is hope without hope we have nothing to look forward to are life becomes void of all meaning.We are nothing more than pointless objects walking around.
