Outside of my window was a very alarming, yet odd sight; Dan was standing beside a large, expensive-looking red pick-up truck. It's bed was filled with objects, but I couldn't make out what they were. Dan stopped fumbling around with the objects and turned around. The look on his face gave away that whatever he was messing around with wasn't very enjoyable. He spotted me watching him and motioned for me to came down, all the while sporting a huge grin. Although I couldn't hear him, I read his lips and could tell he was asking, "Are you ready?"

Oh no! I screamed in my head. I forgot to get my things together! Wait, it's not that big a deal is it? I looked back out my window and to my horror, the peculiar man, William Crist, stepped out of the truck, accompanied by an unfamiliar woman.

"Crap!" I cursed. "That must be my new supervisor! I'm not even dressed yet!" I looked out the window yet again and saw that they were entering the hospital. I rushed to the closet in my room and franticly looked for something to wear, I spotted an elegant dress and quickly put it on. Just as I finished pulling it over me, My door bursted open. Isquickly spun around to see William, Dan, and the woman standing in my doorway.

"What exactly are you wearing?" William asked in a squeaky voice. I could see the look of astonishment in his eyes.

"A dress, smart one, why do you ask?" I retorted in a smart-alecky manner.

"How," the strange woman said, "do expect to be trained in that filthy old thing?"

"What?" I cried out. "We're going to train today?"

"Yes, of course we were, you idiot!" the woman yelled.

"Why call me an idiot?" I yelled back. "I was told that I was going to meet you today, not train!"

"Ladies, please!" Dan said in an attempt to calm us down. "This behavior is completely irrational!"

"Dan Crowder, hold your tongue!" the woman screamed. "You don't need to interfere!"

"Don't yell at him!" I shouted. "He didn't do anything to you!" The woman, my supposed new supervisor stared at me. Oddly, the anger left her eyes as she stared at me.

"Why are you staring at me?" I yelled hatefully.

"You know, oyu seem like a great kid," she said.

"Huh?" I uttered, confused. This wasn't exactly what I had suspected this strange woman to say.

"You remind me a lot of myself when I was your age," she said kindly. As she said this, I calmed down.

"Is that good or bad?" I asked playfully.

"Good," the woman laughed.

"So, may I ask who you are?" I asked. I felt it would be easier to get along with this woman if I at least knew what her name was.

"Well, my name is Alyce Kouns, and I'm going to be the supervisor for the rest of your training." Her answer didn't suprise me.

"So, what are we doing today?" I asked.

"Well we're going to go to the training field," she replied, "but first you need to change into, erm, more appropriate clothing." I smiled as they left my room. I was very excited, but at the same time I was very nervous. I changed into shorts and a T-shirt that bore the emblem of my old school, Westfall Middle. I took a last look around the room that had been my home for a total of nearlt 12 hours, picked up my bags, and left to go outside. I climbed into the car after checking out of the hospital.

"Hello there!" William said. He was driving the car, and we started to depart the hospital as soon as I climbed in.

"Hello!" I replied politely.

"These two have informed me that you've been very curious as to what your mission was," Alyce said awkwardly.

"Yes, I am!" I said. I was feeling very excited.

"Well, I've discussed the matter with them, and we feel that the time is right for you to know," Alyce explained.

"Oh, really?" I asked, my voice squeaking with excitement."

"Yes, really," Alyce said. "Your mission will surprise you, and it will be very dangerous."

As, she continued telling me of my mission, my jaw dropped in disbelief.

"Your mission is..."
