"M-my worst nightmare?" I stuttered in disbelief. This explanation was the last thing I'd expected, and I was completely caught off-guard. The man, my supposed 'worst nightmare' was staring at me, waiting for me to respond. I wasn't sure what to say, but, with his eyes boring into me, I knew I had to. "That's, um interesting," I lamely said. I didn't seem to be leaving a very good impression on this man.

"I would have thought a person like you could come up with a much better response to my, well, intriguing statement," the man said.

"Well," I replied, "it was actually pretty alarming."

"You believed me?" the man suddenly chuckled. His chuckle soon turned into an obnoxiously loud laugh. I was confused; what did the man think was so funny about me? Or was it the situation he was laughing at?

"Excuse me, sir," I said loudly, "but what are you laughing at?"

"I'm laughing at you!" the man said, out of breath.

"ME?" I repeated, outraged. "What did I do?"

"You believed me whan I said I was your worst nighmare!" he said. The man was finally beginning to calm down, and his tone was almost normal.

"Well then, if you're not my worst nightmare, then who are you?" I asked.

"My name is William Crist, and I'm the head of the department in the FBI that takes care of kids like you," he explained. "Over the next few days I'll be getting to know you very well."

"What do you mean, 'you'll be getting to know me'? Does that mean you'll be stalking me or something?" I asked in a very alarmed tone. I was beginning to be very afraid of this peculiar man, William Crist.

"No, it doesn't," he replied. "Actually, I'll be helping you with the rest of your training."

"The rest of my training?" I repeated. "Does that mean it's already started?"

"Yes, it has," William said. "When we trapped you in the room, we were testing your logic skills, and don't worry, the bulldozer was a great idea, so you passed with flying colors."

"But wait," I said, "how could I have begun my training if I don't even know what my mission is?"

"Like you've been told a million times already, all will be revealed to you in good time," he said. "Now, Mr. Crowder, you are aware of what I'm about to do?"

"Yes, sir, I believe I am," Dan said, finally coming out of his horrendously terrified trance.

"Aware of what? What are you about to do?" I asked.

"We'll tell you later," William said.

"For now," Dan quickly said," you need to get as much sleep as you can, because we're leaving first thing in the morning."

"Leaving to go where?" I asked in wonderment.

"We're going to go and meet your new supervisor," he explained, "and trust me, you need to look and act as nice as possible; she's extremely unpredictable."

"What do you mean by that?" I asked nervously.

"Well," William said, "she's generally a very angry person, and you don't wan't to get on her bad side. The worst thing is, though, you ask a lot of questions, and I cant tell already that you won't be one of her favorites."

"Thanks for making me feel better!" I said sarcastically, extremely afraid of what tomorrow's plans held for me.

"Don't worry too much," Dan said. "We're going to leave now, and you'd better get some sleep."

The door slammed shut as they left. AS much as I didn't want to, as soon as they left I fell into a deep sleep. The next morning, I awoke to very loud noises.

"What in the world?" I asked myself. I found that I was finally unstrapped from my gurney, so I got up and walked to my window. Outside there was a very alarming sight...

Arg that hurt my hand! Well, you know what to do, so do it! By the way, the vote button loves to be clicked on! =]
