*Keeli's POV*
Keeli had spent the last week eating ice cream and sitting in front of the glow of the computer. The chat rooms were beginning to bore her. There were more bots than real people, and unless you were on super late at night, hardly anyone interesting was on. A few times foreign pervs would message her, spamming for cyber sex in a language she couldn't read. Lately, she'd been playing some online interactive game. Kids at school had been really into it a few years ago, and now it just served to kill time. Keeli had never noticed how much time in the day she had spent on the phone with her ex until she wasn't doing it anymore. It was ridiculous the amount of time she had on her hands these days. The sun had just finished setting and Keeli decided, on a whim, to log into a chatroom. Closing down the gamers site, she opened up yahoo chat and scrolled through the rooms until she finally decided on one of the music rooms. At least they'd be talking about something. A few windows popped up, but they were all just mindless chatter and she'd get sick of them. All of them except for one. She hadn't discussed any personal details with the guy so far, but mindless chatter with him was...different.
andrewsylvester10: so, whats your favorite color?
antipopriot: rainbow. urs?
andrewsylvester10: black.
antipopriot: black isn't a color, its a shade.
andrewsylvester10: it is a color.
antipopriot: actually its ALL the colors. black absorbs color, so really you just like the rainbow.
andrewsylvester10: maybe I just really like you
antipopriot: *blushes*
antipopriot: so, you never told me what you do.
andrewsylvester10: army. deployed. iraq.
antipopriot: oh wow. that must really really suck.
andrewsylvester10: nah its not so bad really. the food sucks though.
Keeli laughed to herself and went upstairs to get a drink of water and use the bathroom. When she came back to the computer they talked about politics and the military and some other random things.
antipopriot: so, what does this mean?
andrewsylvester10: what do you mean?
antipopriot: seems like we're more than friends already, but what do you want it to be
andrewsylvester10: i guess i'd have you be my gf like a million miles away. what do you want it to be?
antipopriot: I guess I'd like to be your gf a million miles away. is there an address there where I could write you like, real letters.
andrewsylvester10: yeah. i'll get it and email it to you. but there are phone's right next to me, i could call you if you wanted...
Keeli's heart started to race, her stomace cramped up. She hadn't given her number out online, since, well, she didn't even want to think about it. Her mom would kill her if she found out. But he seemed so nice...what the hell.
antipopriot: 989
antipopriot: 467
antipopriot: 6428.
Keeli logged off the computer and grabbed her cell phone, staring at it. "Love song" by Sara Boraelis started to blare and blue light flashed on the screen. She opened the phone, took a breath, and spoke into the phone, nervousness apparent in her voice.
"Hello?"
