Sunshine came dancing through the window, making Keeli's fire engine red hair shine like flames. She opened her eyes just a bit, rolling over and groaning at the thought of school. She wrapped her arms under her pillow and glanced at the alarm clock sitting next to her bed.

"Ugh," thought Keeli as she swung her legs over the side of her bed, "7:00 o'clock comes way too soon..." She went through the routine motions of her morning, brush teeth, wash face, get dressed, put on makeup, tie hair up. Grabbing the keys, she headed out to her car and slowly backed out of the driveway. As always, Keeli ignored everyone at school, she ate lunch alone and ignored the occasional person who attempted to approach her. Her therapist would periodically bring these behaviors up in a session, asking why she wasn't more social. Her response was always the same.

"Let's face it Alese, I'm just not a people person. I don't like talking about me, and I don't like talking about my problems. You, of all people, should know that by now." The school day drug by as always. Sometimes she wondered why she even bothered with school. It just seemed so pointless. No one learned anything, the obnoxious idiots disrupted the class so much that the only thing anyone learned was not so effective ways of dealing with inconsiderate assholes.

"Mark, get out of my class now!" Mr. Louis was fuming as he kicked the hooligan out minutes before the bell rang. Keeli simply shook her head as she gathered her books and walked out into the rainy April afternoon. The drive home was always one of her favorite times. It gave her a chance to truly be alone, something she craved lately. It was suffocating at home, and not in a good way. Her mom was never around, and tried to make up for it with shopping on the weekends. And her grandpa? He thought that just because they were living under his roof it gave him the right to act like her parent. She turned the volume on the radio up and sang along to Hey There Delilah until she turned into the driveway. She sighed and walked inside, saying the mandatory hellos to her grandfather and depositing her books on the bed before logging online. As always, numerous personal messages popped up from the music chat room. Selecting a few, Keeli began messaging back and forth with the crazies...
