The Day Sara Lost Everything: Chapter 10

Anthony grabbed her hand and led her out of the room.

“First stop, the kitchen. Its not much…,”

Not much. That was the understatement of the century. The kitchen was marvelous. All of the countertops, and the island in the middle, were stainless steal. The floor was a tile look, but in reality was a laminate covering. The sink was sunken in right below a picturesque window. The view of the backyard and pool was breath taking. A metal rack containing pots and pans hung above the island. To the right of the doorway stood a magnificent silver freezer/ refrigerator combination.

“Wow.”

Anthony simply chuckled as Sara wandered around the kitchen. She ran her fingers along the cold, smooth surfaces, sending a shiver up her spine. She stopped at the window. The backyard was something else. It looked like an oasis.

“Would you like to see it?”

“See what?”

“The backyard that you seem to be staring at so contently.”

Sara blushed and once again took Anthony’s hand. They walked through a glass door into the yard. It was like stepping into something straight out of a story. The lush green grass covered their bare feet, but not to the point where it seemed messy. The pool had 2 lawn loungers set up on either side of the diving board. The pool itself was shaped in a squiggly manner, looking just like a random pool of water. It was a serine blue-green, and appeared to be oh so inviting. Palm trees were scattered around, giving it the perfect atmosphere.

“Would you care to join me for a late night swim?”

“But I’m not dressed proper…”

Before Sara could so much as finish her sentence Anthony had begun to strip down. First came his shirt reveling a tightly chiseled chest and firm abdomen. There was a light scattering of hair on his torso. Next came his trousers. They slipped soundlessly from his legs and he stepped out of them. He had boxers on , but they were snug. When he turned towards the pool, Sara could see the outline of his firm ass. He looked back at her.

“Coming?”

“But, I, I….”

“Just strip down to what you feel comfortable in.”

That being said, he jumped into the water. Sara decided, after a moment, what she would do.

Just as Anthony’s head ducked above the water, he saw Sara jump in. Fully clothed. He chuckled to himself. Obviously Sara was going to have some trust issues. He hoped he would be able to work through them with her. If not at the very least he would have the pleasure of seeing her wet clothes hug to her every curve.

Sara brought her head above the water slowly. The pressure on her body made her stress dissipate. She felt calmer, more relaxed. For a moment she completely forgot that Anthony was in the pool. That is, until she turned around to find him staring at her. There was a look in his eye, but yet she couldn’t quite tell what it was. Sara swam over to him, tentatively resting her hand on his hip.

The two frolicked in the water for quite sometime before Anthony pulled himself out and laid down on one of the chairs. He watched as Sara swam to the edge and pulled herself a small bit out of the water. She then folded her arms on the edge and laid her head down upon them. They sat staring at each other for the longest time. Finally Anthony spoke.

“I don’t know about you, but I’m as wrinkled as a prune.”

“Me too.”

“Do you want to head back inside?”

“Sure, but wait. I don’t have any dry clothes.”

Anthony chuckled as he said, “Well my dear, that is why I advised you to strip down a bit. But I suppose we can find you something to wear.”
With that the two strolled back through the door, water droplets falling to the ground from their soaked clothing.
