*continued from #4. please read previous stories to understand this one. for those of you that have always read my stories, thanks! and enjoy!*
The horrible glare that shot from Brendon's eyes was enough to make my blood run cold. It was just so emotional. The look portrayed pain, passion, and betrayal.
"bren, i'm so sorry. i really am," i said, my voice breaking. tears spilled from my eyes and dropped onto my black t-shirt.
"you- you- cheated on me," brendon stuttered. his glare softened to a pout. i looked at his eyes and saw the hurt through the tears. "how could you, sky? it- it's- why?"
i shot my gaze to the floor and stared at his feet. "we were talking, brendon, and it just happened. i can't apologize enough. i really cant" he let out a long sigh. "bren," i started, "why are you so upset? it was just a kiss. a small peck! no more than that!"
he looked up at me, "i- i love you," he stated. i had to catch my breath. no guy had said that to me before. not seriously like he had. my heart was pounding hard in my chest, as if dancing with happiness and excitement.
"i love you, too," i replied.
brendon smiled broadly and grabbed my hands. we stared into eachothers eyes.
"you make me happy, sky. i cant explain it," brendon hesitated.
i gently put my hands on his cheeks. "just kiss me," i whispered.
brendon smiled and grabbed my waist. we leaned toward eachother and pressed our lips together. it reminded me of the first time we kissed. that amazing moment we shared. it made my stomach produce major butterflies. but simply seeing brendon did the same thing.
we parted and lingered in the romantic vibe. it was nice to be in the arms of someone that loved me. i felt like i belonged right in that spot.
i glanced at the clock and read that it was already 10.
"crap. i gotta go," i said. brendon made a pouty face and hugged me tight. "i will see you tomorrow, ok?" i asked.
"yep! tomorrow," he said. i grabbed my cell phone off of the bed and slipped it into my pocket. i stopped i the doorway and turned around.
"bye," i said quietly. i wanted one more 'i love you'. just one.
"see ya," brendon replied. i smiled and walked out the door, disappointed.
when i arrived at my house, i went up to my room and sat in front of my window. brendon had the blinds on his window pulled down, but i could see his shadow in front of it. he sat down right where i could see him, and whipped out his cell phone. i watched him push some buttons, and then my cell phone let out a little tune. i reached into my pocket and took out my phone. i flipped it open and it said i had a new text message. i pushed the button to read this message. it was from brendon and it said, "you make my world brighter. i love you."
a dorky, yet so amazingly happy smile, invaded my face. i texted him back, "ditto, baby."
