I've noticed during the past couple months since I joined that no one really gets good ratings on here unless they write about sex... no matter how well or badly it is written, if it's about sex, it seems to get a good rating.

When i joined, I thought that this was all about getting feedback, both good and bad... just some unbiased constructive critism and praise from other writers. So far I haven't really gotten much of anything... a couple comments that just say "good", a couple votes with no comments at all... and of course a few that were actually helpful or really encouraging.

Now, there is nothing wrong with writing about sex, but come on guys... give some other genres besides sex romance and almost flat-out porn a chance...

I've met and noticed a lot of truly talented writers and storytellers on here... and yet most of them are not getting the recognition or feedback that they crave.

Can't we try to use the site for its intended purpose?... help, support, feedback, and critism from people who are actually passionate about their writing. And, of course, entertainment.
