It was about ten o’clock when I got out of Eric’s car and heard the music blasting.

“Damn. She may be a slut, but at least she know how to throw a party” I said laughing.

Eric was right by my side laughing with me. “True”

Chris brown’s “Wall to wall” Was being played to loud I couldn’t hear myself think.

“Thirsty?” Eric yelled. But I didn’t know what he was saying.

I leaned closer, and tried to hear him but I couldn’t. He repeated himself again. Still nothing. He held his hand out as if he were holding a cup, and threw his head back like he was drinking it.

“Oh! Am I thirsty?” I yelled.

He nodded and I shook my head no. He nodded and pointed towards what I assumed was a kitchen so I’d know where he was going.

I nodded back and he vanished into the crowd.

I went to the other side of the house where the music wasn’t as loud. Then I felt someone tug on my shoulder.

I turned around to find a guy named Kyle standing behind me. He was cute, and I had considered making him my boyfriend after Eric. He would be my guy right now if those feelings for Eric would have just went away like they were supposed to.

“Oh… Hey Kyle.” I smiled as his dimples began to show as he returned my smile.

“Hey… So I heard you were single again?”

I was up against a wall and he put one of his arms against the wall while standing in front of me. If I would have moved even the slightest bit, my face would have touched his arm.

“Really? I guess word spreads fast. But does that mean you’ve been asking about me?”

I was flirting with him, but it wasn’t on purpose. He was just so sexy I couldn’t help myself.

“I’d do all the asking I have to do; as long as you agree to go out with me”

I looked him in the eyes and smiled. “I would love to…”

“Great”

“But… I still have some things I have to sort out first. I don’t wanna go on a date with you ‘til it’s all figured out.”

“So you’re not single?”

“I’m single… But I guess in a way I’m taken too. It’s complicated. But when it gets a little less complicated, trust me, you’ll be the first to know.”

He smiled that gorgeous smile again and backed away. “The first?”

“Absolutely”

He nodded and then left. After about 10 seconds I pushed away from the wall and went to go find my friends. But they found me first.

“Girl, you won’t believe who we just saw all hugged up in the kitchen!”

I was confused. “Who?”

They grabbed my hand and led me to the kitchen. Which by the way was hard to reach, but we got there. This part of the house was still loud as ever, just a different song.

Now Bow wow ft soulja boy “Marco Polo” was on.

When I walked through the swinging doors of the kitchen, Eric was leaned back against the counter and Lucy was pushed in between his legs. She was whispering something in his ear and he was just listening with no emotion on his face at all.

We were just standing there watching and he just happened to look over and see me. In the blink of an eye, he pushed Lucy away.

“It’s not what it looks like, angel”

I crossed my arms and started feeling the bitch in me arise. “Oh really? Looks to me like someone got a little bit too close in the past ten minutes.”

He looked away and he had that face like ‘yeah, that’s exactly what it looked like’

“No words? Funny how when you get caught with her, you speechless”

I started to turn to leave out of the kitchen but I heard Lucy say “Bitch” Just a little too loud and it pissed me off.

I looked at her like she was crazy and stepped right in her face. “Say it again, you gonna wish you hadn’t”

She looked at me like she was fearless, leaned in and said “Bitch”

I pushed her back a little bit and punched her right in the jaw. I knew how to fight, so I knew I hit her hard but she came flying at me like she didn’t feel a thing.

We both flew into the cups on the table behind me, then we fell. She fell on top of me giving her an advantage. But she didn’t use the advantage wisely because she hit like a sissy.

She smacked me in my face and I reached up, gripped her hair and smacked her right back. Then I scratched her when I backhanded her because of my ring. That left a gash on her face.

I rolled over so that I was on top of her and punched her again, this time she grabbed my hair. I didn’t care though, I punched her continuously and then I felt myself being lifted off of her.

I was still kicking though and while I was kicking and she was on the ground I kicked her in her side.

“Stop! Okay! That’s enough!” I didn’t realize it had taken two guys to get me off her because I was fighting back so hard.

“You bitch!” Lucy screamed as she felt the blood on her face.

“Oh don’t go there again, we can make round two happen ASAP!”

“Fuck you!”

“I knew you was a hoe, didn’t think you was lesbian! No sweetie, I don’t go that way”

“If you think we done, I’m letting you know now, we far from it”

“So what now? You gonna sneak up on me when I least expect it? You a bitch and you lucky I didn’t kill you!”

“Hey! This is ridicules! You fighting ova stupid shit!” Tyler screamed.

My friends who had left when they first brought me to the kitchen came in and saw Lucy’s face and laughed.

“Damn. What happened?” Naomi asked.

I turned and walked out of the kitchen with them following close behind. I found the bathroom and went to check myself out. I didn’t have any scratches, but I had a red print on the right side of my face from where she slapped me.

My hair was crazy too. India pulled out her infamous hairspray and a brush and fixed my hair. I re applied my eyeliner and lip-gloss and looked good as new. Lucy on the other hand, wouldn’t have it as easy.
