I was partially annoyed and partially heartbroken when I walked into class to find Lucy Prindle sitting dangerously close to Eric and whispering something into his ear. He didn’t have any noticeable facial expression on his face so I couldn’t tell weather he was enjoying this or not.

Lucy was the biggest slut in the school and everyone knew it. She had had her eye on Eric for a while now. I’m surprised she didn’t make a pass at him while we were together, but I guess she knew better. She may have been a dumb slut, but she wasn’t that dumb.

I went over to my seat and sat in my assigned seat, which was two rows over from Eric, and 3 seats in front of him. I didn’t want to turn around, because if he was looking at me, I’d be caught. Instead I pulled out my compact mirror and pretended to be fixing my make up. But no, my focus was on them the whole time.

I didn’t even notice when my Other bestfriend Naomi came and sat right beside me.

“Something caught your eye in your mirror hunn?” She said with a smirk.

Her voice caught me off guard causing me to fumble with my mirror in my hand and almost dropping it.

“N-No” I said flipping a curl out of my face and trying to look casual.

“Uhuh, no need to lie. I saw that hot mess as soon as I entered the room. Wanna explain to me how yesterdays happy couple resulted in today’s gossip column?”

See, if you haven’t noticed, Naomi was more like me. She was sarcastic, rude and bitchy at times, but she was a really good friend. The difference between her and I was that she had people skills, she got along with pretty much anybody, as long as she wanted too.

I let out a sigh. “I broke up with him yesterday” I said flatly.

“Well that’s self-explanatory babe, no one’s ever dumped you. But do you wanna explain why or should I go interupt Lucy’s wanna be striptease and ask Eric?”

“No!” I said raising my voice a little. “I Just… I don’t know, I guess it was time”

“If it was time, sweetie, I wouldn’t have caught you taking sneak glimpses of him”

She snatched the mirror out of my hand and began fixing her mascara.

After the bell rang, the teacher put us in groups of four for a project. My group just so happened to be Eric, Lucy, and a guy in my class named Paul. He had a huge crush on me and I never paid him any attention.

Our group was pretty quiet until Paul spoke up.

“So… how long have you to been dating now?” Paul said referring to Eric and I.

“Ther’re not dating anymore” Lucy said. I could tell his statement annoyed her.

I smirked. “Oh what’s wrong Lucy? Is the break up a little too fresh for your bearing?”

“Bite me”

Eric wasn’t saying a word, in fact he refused to look at me period. It didn’t bother me. Actually, it made things a little easier.

“Wait, you guys broke up?” Paul said sounding stupidly confused.

“Looks like it” I said.

“Oh” He placed his arm around my shoulder and started grinning.

Eric finally shot his eyes up at me and he looked pretty mad. I took in a deep breath and looked away.

“Don’t” I muttered.

“But I thought you-“

“Don’t” I said louder. He removed his arm, and I looked back up at Eric.

Lucy was looking back and fourth from me to him and she immediately looked pissed.

Damn, now everybody was angry.

okay so im finally back from my vacation. Im gonna post a new chapter of this and a new chapter of Intense lover tomorrow. I wasnt gonna post til tomorrow, but i got back earlier than expected. After four plane rides, IM SOOOO TIRED!
