*The present*

So there you have it. I lost my husband less than 24 hours after saying, “I do”. I figured that my life was crazy enough to write a book, so I did. Being published on this day in fact.

I placed a copy of the book on his grave. While sitting here telling you my story, I’ve realized two things; One, I will never love anyone as much as I loved him. And two even though my life took a turning point that day, it made me stronger.

I didn’t get the courage to open up his will until three months later. It just seemed like if I opened it, then he would for sure be gone…

When I found out he had left me everything, and by everything, I mean Millions, I cried. I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do with it. I made sure to put some in a private account for when his sister went to college, and I even put some away for his mom. He’d want it that way.

I started going to school, I had two more years to go and I was majoring in Journalism. It was actually okay.

“I Love you baby.” I said standing up, “Nothing could replace your memory”

Looking back on the whole experience, I know he was the best thing that ever happened to me. I just wish Jabarri had died a little sooner than he did. It felt good to be the one to pull the trigger!

“Mommy! Grandma says she’s making macaroni and cheese!”

Oh yes, How could I forget to mention me and DayDay have a son. Damien Lemont Smith Jr. He looks just like his daddy. I pulled him close and hug him tight.

“That’s good. Say bye-bye to daddy” I said.

“See you later daddy” He said waving.

I smiled and rose off the ground. “Lets go babe”

Walking away from my husbands grave, I couldn’t help thinking to myself… If this is the price I had to pay to get rich, I’d rather be broke!

So that’s a wrap for to get rich. Though I might- MIGHT do a sequel. But it won’t be coming out ‘til like November if I do. I have two new stories I’m working on. One of them is already posted "Intense Lover” && Another one called “The breakup” Coming soon.
