Aside from me being a little guilty at how I was playing Quinton, I was extremely excited. I had spent the day shopping with Shawnny, and I had found the perfect outfit to wear to the lil wayne concert.
When It got to be around 6 o'clock, we decided to head home so I could get ready for my big night.
"How Do I look?" I twirled around in front of shawnny.
"You look Fab-Yu-LaSSSS!" She said with a smiles.
"Thank ya, Thank ya very much" I said immitating Elvis.
She fell out laughing and I continued my modeling around the room.
About 10 minutes later there was a knock at the door. When I opened it though, it was an older man standing there with some white roses.
"May I Help you sir?"
"Corrin Powell?"
"Yes"
"These are for you" He handed me the flowers and they were beautiful. I opened the card.
Told you I'd make the night special, be there in 5. -DayDay
I smiled, then giggled, then laughed.
After thanking the man, I closed the door and went to go put the flowers in water. No sooner than I was done, there was a knock at the door. This time Shawnny answered it.
"Hey DayDay, She'll be out in a minute"
"Aight"
I turned in the mirror to check my hair and my outfit. Perfect.
When I walked into the room where he was I couldnt help but notice his sexiness... again.
"Hey, the flowers were beautiful, thank you"
"You're more than welcome Baby... Ready?"
"Born ready"
I gave shawnny a hug and told her to tell Matthew I said Hi when he came over tonight, and then I left.
When we got outside there was a limo waiting. A guy in a tux stepped out to open the door for us, and then we took off. I was all smiles and giggles. I couldnt hold it in, I was literally glowing.
"So where we goin?" I asked after about 5 minutes.
"You'll see"
I was already sitting as close as possible to him, so i Swung my right leg over his legs as If I were crossing my own and I put my right hand on his left cheek and turned his face toward mine. I was looking him directly in the eyes at this point, and it was turning me on.
"You sure you dont wanna tell me?" I began planting kisses all over his face.
"Yea, positive"
I kissed him on his lips, and then the tounge action began. We were kissing for so long that by the time we pulled away for air, we were pulling into a runway -an airplane runway.
We got out of the limo when the driver opened the doors and I gasped. "Were riding in a privet jet?"
"How else do you think were gonna get to the privet island in time?"
I let out a small scream and jumped up and down like I was five. But I didnt care though, A privet island? When we got in the waiter came and offered us wine.
"Oh I cant drink, im only eighteen" I said to the waiter.
"C, are you serious? who cares" DayDay asked.
"I care!"
He laughed. "Ok, can you get the baby some apple cider?" I looked at him in approval and the waiter went to go get the apple cider.
When He came back with it, we toasted. "To your 18th birthday" He said smiling.
Ding.
We drank em down and then talked the rest of the hour flight away. If felt like 10 minutes honestly, when we started to go down, I looked at the clear water and it was so pretty.
We made our exit and began our walk across the beach. I noticed an eating area set up right on the peer. We were walking towards it and there were flower petals leading up the whole peer.
"Oh my-"
"-Yes, God helped... but dont forget to thank me"
We sat down and there were menu's, but in the middle of the table, there was cut up pineapple.
"mmm my fav, how'd you know?"
"I didnt, its my favorite too"
"So wait, what if I'd Hated it?"
"Then you would have to take it up with them" He pointed to some people who im guessing lived on the island, and they were all eating pineapple.
We both laughed and then he signaled the waiter.
"She'll have the Salmon dinner, and I'LL have the shrimp"
When The food came it smelled delishes, and about twenty-five minutes later we were full.
We got up and walked to the end of the peer where a guy came a picked us up in some sort of beach car.
"So Where we going now?" I asked
"You'll see"
By the time we got off of it, we were standing in front of this huge palace. It was so pretty, something you would see in movies.
"here we are, le coeur de l'île"
"Thats beautiful, whats it mean?"
DayDay helped me out of the car and grabbed my hand. "Its french. It means, the heart of the island."
We walked into the big palace and there were doors everywhere, but we went through the first one and it was a staircase that led to this huge room. It was dimply lit, but even in the dim lighting you could see that everything was white. The paintings on the wall were huge, and the frames were made of diamonds.
"Oh my-"
"Calling on God again?"
I looked at him and smiled. "You're full of suprises tonight"
"night's not over yet"
"no?"
"Coarse not, we just came up here to change" He said as if I should have already knew.
"You call this a changing room?" I said walking over and sitting on the bed "Besides, I didnt bring a change of clothes. And why are we changing anyway?"
"You'll see" He replied smoothly.
"You've been saying that alot tonight"
"And have all your questions so far been answered?"
"Well, Yeah but-"
He put his finger over my mouth. "-And so will this one, now get dressed" He said walking out of the room.
"But I already told you I-" Just then two girls walked in the room. One was carrying the cutest mini black dress and shoes I'd ever seen and the other was carrying an all diamond necklace.
My jaw dropped, they went and layed the items on the bed.
"Am - am I supposed to- ..." I pointed towards the it bed, in hopes that they would get it, they did.
"Yes Miss Powell, Mr Smith says to be downstairs in 5 minutes"
Mr Smith? -Oh DayDay!
I nodded and they exited. I quickly got dressed and when I got downstairs DayDay Had changed too. He was wearing some black dress pants and white shirt that was unbottoned at the top. He wore the outfit so well, I wondered what he could possible wear to make him less attractive.
"You look beautiful" He said. I blushed a little more than expected.
"And you look handsome, Mr Smith" We walked towards this huge ball room and I was Just floating on air with giddyness.
Then all of a sudden, I heard a song. It came out of nowhere, but I recognized it. As we walked toward the ballroom it got louder, but I couldnt put my finger on the name of it. Once we got in the ballroom, there was a man on stage holding a microphone, but he wasnt facing me.
I stand outside, this womans work,

Thats when I recognized the song, This Womans Work.
"Oh My Jesus God, Thats Maxwell!" I screamed.
As If On Cue, Maxwell Turned and faced me. Our Eyes locked and he started walking toward me. I felt like I was gonna pass out.
We he finally reached me he was still singing, he grabbed my hand and walked me over to a chair that was on the stage facing the 20 to 30 people that were in the room listening to the song and enjoying the show.
DayDay was watching from the crowd, obviously pleased with himself for getting me this excited all in one night.
Maxwell kneeled down beside me and continued to sing the rest of the song to me. I love that song, so I was sooo turned on by this point.
By the end of the song Maxwell leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
"Everybody, will you please join me in singing miss Corrin here a special Happy Birthday song."
In a matter of seconds the room dimmed and the whole room was singing. There was a cake being walked over to me and when the guy leaned down so I could blow out my candles, I felt the tears comming on.
I cannot believe he did all this for me.
Thats all that was running through my head.
The song had just ended and Maxwell leaned in close
"The big 1-8 huh?"
"Yea" I said as he put the mic to my mouth
"You ready to make a wish?"
I nodded and closed my eyes. I knew exactly what I wanted to wish for. I just hoped it would come true. I blew out the candles and opened my eyes to a room full of clapping people.
After that me and DayDay enjoyed the rest of the night dancing, and laughing. We didnt get back to the room til 2 in the morning, I took pictures with maxwell and he said he'd make sure they got mailed to me personally after I put my address into his phone.
DayDay Pulled off his shirt and Dived into the bed. I took off my shoes and got right beside him.
"Did you have fun?"
"Yes, I had the best time tonight, I really did"
"Im Glad"
He turned over so that he was laying on his back and I got directly on top of him as If I were about to ride him, but I was still dressed.
"So tell me DayDay, How do you fell about me?"
He looked shocked at my question.
"What do you mean? Isnt it obvious?"
"No its not, and if it is then so what, I wanna hear you say it"
"I dont know what you wanna hear"
"Just tell me- Tell me how you feel when you see me"
He sat up so that we were face to face, but I was still sitting on him. "Man, you be havin my mind on a whole different level. I neva feel dis hard, dis fast for nobody in my whole life. When You look at me the way you do, sometimes it makes me wanna check to see if theres someone behind me cuz I be like, I know she aint lookin at me like that. When You kiss me, Its like, I dont even know how to describe it"
"But is that enough for you not to leave me?" I asked barely above a whisper.
"Leave you? Of coarse Im not gonna leave you."
"Good. Thats what I wished for"
